Expert Analysis

Cole served as a great two-way player for Northville last season. On offense, Cole was a good safety valve in the receiving game and a willing blocker. Cole played his role well as an in-line TE.
Ranked as a linebacker, Cole showed a lot of flashes playing off-ball. Most notably, I like Cole’s explosiveness and hard-nosed tackling defending the outside run. He’s still a little unproven, but his size combined with the existing tape is promising. I’m looking forward to seeing Cole make a jump this season, and right now, he places as a top 300 player in the class.

I had known of Cole since the beginning of last year, and I did see him play in week 1, but what really made him pop out to me was his MVP performance at the Stock Up Showcase back in December. He moved well, did the positional drills the best, and did a fantastic job of being a leader by example. Checking his full body of work from this past season, I am feeling really good about Cole having a breakout 2024. Whether it’s inside or outside the box, Cole has great quick feet and is athletic enough to go sideline to sideline. He’s a physical tackler who wraps up well and does the fundamentals well. He’s reactive and shows great pursuit of the ball. Some more weight room time and added size could make Cole one of the best LB prospects in his class.

Attanasio is a 6’1, 202 lb linebacker out of Northville. The highly athletic junior stood out amongst his peers by showcasing his smooth footwork and ability to cover in 1 on 1’s. A hybrid backer, Attanasio can line up at multiple positions on the field and excel. He was impressive when going against the opposing running backs during open field tackle fits and hung stride for stride against the same running backs in the 1 on 1’s portion. Attanasio closed space quickly and maintained a solid base throughout his drill work. Ultimately earning Linebacker MVP Honors at the PRZ MI Stock Up Showcase, Attanasio is rising star within the state of Michigan who is beginning to pick up steam in recruiting.
