Adam has been on my radar for a while. I’m still waiting for him to put it all together, but this past season he showed some improvement. As an interior lineman, Adam does a great job at finishing his blocks when he’s able to get a solid hold and initial hit on his defender. Even when he fails to engage, he does his best to correct himself and still finish his block. Footwork and patience are key for him moving forward. I get the sense that Adam is trying to play too fast in some of the clips, and it would help if he slowed down a little, focuses on fundamentals, and takes every play as a new challenge.

Adam could surprise some folks this year with another offseason under his belt. Travers is another fun film to watch, as he finishes blocks and loves to go find someone to hit. He definitely needs a little bit more filling out, but that will come. He’s got a good starting base currently, as his footwork, ability to maintain a low center of gravity and aggression should serve him nicely. If he wants to take himself to the next level, I think more work in pass protection and crushing more work in the weight room will get him a lot closer! I’m excited to see what improvements he has made, and where he stacks up in one of the toughest conferences out there.
