There is no greater honor than for me to call you a "my guy." My guys are those who are generally very underrated in the recruiting scene at the time of writing this article. The seven players in this article are all guys I'll be pounding the table for this summer until they receive the offers they rightfully deserve.

TE | [player_tooltip player_id='1290918' first='Blake' last='Linsley'] | Rockford | @Blinsley12

6'4.5" 220lbs - Offered by Davenport and Hope

Blake is a brand-new prospect to me. I've seen him at a few workouts over the past couple of months, but I hadn't watched his film until a few days ago. I had heard many great things about Blake, but I didn't expect to love his film as much as I did. At Rockford, Blake is being utilized incredibly well, as he truly plays the game how a college TE would. I've never seen a high school TE run routes, catch, run after catch, block, and chip-release like Blake does. Most HS tight ends (even D1 prospects) are very one-dimensional and are either elite receivers or elite blockers (most don't even line up in-line). Blake is the full package.

Getting this out of the way now, but Blake needs to work on his blocking. It's definitely not bad, but he's a bit timid at the point of contact. Skilled block-shedders could likely sidestep him. Though once he gets a hold of a defender, he drives his feet and blocks to the whistle. Regardless, Blake gets a ton of blocking reps. Another area where Blake is generally unproven is in contested catches. I worry a little about his hands because of the lack of contested catches and the fact I haven't watched him run routes in person yet, but he does have a few difficult catches on tape that are promising. Blake should also improve his strength.
His overall receiving game is very advanced for a High School TE. At 2:50, he chips the defender before running up the seam and converting a difficult catch. The first highlight shows a great contested catch where he has to extend his arms fully. Several highlights show Blake running a large variety of routes. A lot of digs, flats, wheels, seams, and outs. Most of his receptions come via dig or seam. Once Blake catches the ball, he's great at exploding upfield. His acceleration is great, and his top speed looks much faster than most TEs. He also does his best to work through contact for extra yards.

It's a crime that Blake only has offers from Davenport and Hope. Those are great programs, but Blake is a B1G 10 prospect in my eyes.

RB | [player_tooltip player_id='601974' first='Alexander' last='Guadagni'] | @Alexand45754410

5'8" 190lbs - Offered by Davenport

Alex has blown the roof off of just about every camp I've seen him at, and he currently holds the fastest shuttle and L-Drill time of any RB to attend a PRZMI Combine (4.09 Shuttle, 6.68L). His film shows a ton of versatility. Last season, he played in the backfield, as a slot receiver, and as a QB. His best highlights show lightning-quick reaction in the open field. Alex is able to receive the ball in traffic and work upfield while making precise cuts that don't slow him down. He shows a few instances of good contact balance and legitimately elite vision.

Alex has a few things to work on. First, there are a few highlights where he cuts back and runs far behind the line of scrimmage. It's amazing that he was able to turn those plays into touchdowns, but running backward like that cannot become a habit. He's also unproven as a 3-down back.

There's a lot to love about Alex as a football player. He's extremely athletic and has gotten noticeably stronger over the past year. In my view, the entire GLIAC should be after him.

WR | [player_tooltip player_id='1298543' first='Ryan' last='Louch'] | Clare | @Ryan_Louch23

6'0" 185lbs - 0 offers

Ryan is a very high-upside receiver who is getting ZERO college attention. I first discovered Ryan via a DM from his head coach, Steven Spranger. He's 6'0", 185lbs, and projects as a slot receiver in college. Ryan's biggest strengths are his release, route-running, and run-after-catch ability. His first route shows a solid 5-yard hitch followed by great vision and athleticism, breaking multiple tackles and hugging the sideline all the way to the endzone. His second highlight shows the exact same play, but this time in the redzone. He quickly jukes two defenders before walking into the endzone. Throughout his film, he also has several catches in traffic, usually in zone coverage. Now, let's talk about Ryan's route-running and release. His release is stellar. First step is explosive, and he's also able to utilize fakes and quick double-moves to immediately catch the opposing DB off-balance. His routes are mostly good as well.

Ryan does have a few flaws, some he has absolutely no control over. To start, he has some wasted movement on the top of his routes, especially on comebacks. His wasted movement varies greatly. Some comebacks he runs very well, but there are a few routes where he can get sloppy. The other glaring flaw is that he's unproven against top competition, which is something I care about and it's something college coaches care about. My word and the highlight tape won't be enough for him to earn scholarship offers. He NEEDS to get out and compete at prospect camps. My gut feeling is that Ryan is a high D3 prospect. So, he should attend MIAA camps with one or two GLIAC camps sprinkled in. He could also shoot his shot at a mega camp where he'll face amazing competition, but that wouldn't be my first recommendation.

MIAA and GLIAC coaches should view Ryan's tape ASAP!

WR/DB | [player_tooltip player_id='899622' first='Braden' last='Rabideau'] | Lansing Catholic | @braden_rabideau

5'10" 170 - 0 offers

I've always liked Braden's film since I discovered him a few years ago. When I saw him compete at the Legacy RISE Showcase back in January, he solidified himself as a "my guy." Against great DBs, he performed lights-out. His route-running and release were superb. Braden was consistently able to use head fakes, double moves, and just generally great release and route-running to win the rep. His first highlight shows exactly what I'm talking about. The play at 4:10 shows more great route running with a broken tackle and great vision to earn a few more yards. The last minute of his highlights shows his abilities as a safety. He's a rangy safety who made a few great plays, but I think he shows a lot more potential as a receiver.

Braden is a GLIAC prospect in my eyes. I wouldn't be shocked if a MAC took a chance on him either.

WR | [player_tooltip player_id='602292' first='Matthew' last='Evans'] | Grand Blanc | @matthew21evans

6'3" 180lbs - 0 offers

Someone's got to offer [player_tooltip player_id='602292' first='Matthew' last='Evans'] sometime this Summer. He's a tall, lengthy receiver who showed a ton of promise at our recent Prep Redzone camp. He showed great route-running with a wide catch radius, and good change of direction. I'll be the first to admit that his testing numbers weren't stellar, but I don't think he's practiced his combine-style testing much. He ran routes much better than his unpracticed testing times. His highlight tape confirms what I saw in-person. Can be a great Z or X receiver at the next level.

Matthew does have a few flaws. As I mentioned earlier, his testing numbers weren't the best, and he opted out of our 40-yd dash. His film does NOT show slow speed. He's tall, fit, and lengthy, and I'm confident he'd perform well in all tests if he practiced. He can also prove his contested catch ability and catch radius a little more.

Matthew's upside is too great not to be a Division 2 prospect. GLIAC teams should offer. If he winds up with a MIAA team, that'd be a steal.

OL | [player_tooltip player_id='899496' first='Maxwell' last='Stoecker'] | Midland | @MaxwellStoecker

6'2" 250lbs

Maxwell plays left tackle at Midland, but because of his height, he projects as a Guard in college. His film shows great tenacity, power, with a good variety of blocks. His overall run-blocking is great. Maxwell has a powerful first step and initial hit that immediately gives him the upper hand. He can also get to the second level and pancake any linebacker or DB. His pass-blocking technique is a bit iffy, but he's a brick wall and can overpower just about any D-lineman.

Maxwell is a D3 prospect in my eyes, and I'm surprised he hasn't received an offer yet.

G | [player_tooltip player_id='1127769' first='Ace' last='Simonson'] | Forest Hills Eastern | @Acesimonson

6'2" 290lbs - Offered by Ferris State

Ace is a definite my-guy, and I'm very optimistic about his trajectory to the next level. I'll get this out of the way now, but the biggest thing holding Ace back is his height. He's 6'2", and you'll be extremely hard-pressed to find any Power 4 program with a 6'2" offensive lineman. Because of that, he'll have an extremely difficult time receiving D1 offers. Not all is lost because Ace is the best <6'3" lineman I've ever seen. He tested incredibly at our Combine. He's in the 81st percentile for 40-yd dash (5.31), 89th percentile for shuttle (4.69), and just about average for broad jump. According to Tracking Football, he was the 8th-best tester at the entire camp (and 3rd best in the class of 2025). At our camp, Ace performed better than expected during 1on1s. He had a great kickstep with solid anchor and overall balance. His film showcases his elite run-blocking abilities. Ace has a super powerful first step and excels on dominating blocks with his leverage and strength. Ace's highlight tape in addition to his work at PowerStrength and our combine make me very optimistic.

Ace is a high-end GLIAC prospect. MAC schools should also keep an eye out.
