Continue ReadingNagin improved steadily during his junior season and had a very good year for Yorba Linda.
He has a solid frame and looked sharp in moments during the Elite 11 Regionals. The quarterback field is very good but he has a chance to take home MVP honors.
Hoss is a big guy who is strong and can put hits on people.
He won’t be doing much hitting on Sunday but I am interested in seeing him in the speed drills and in pass coverage.
Embree is a lengthy receiver who will be a three-year starter for Santa Margarita.
He’s a high-IQ football guy who plays for the OC Elite passing league team. Embree is the son of a coach and would be the No. 1 receiver at a lot of schools in the area.
Highlights
Reyes was a nickel corner at Santa Margarita last season and has since transferred to Orange Lutheran.
He is excellent at flying up the field to stop the run game on film. I am intrigued to see him in man pass coverage frequently on Sunday.
Highlights
Medina got meaningful snaps in a game as a freshman for Orange Lutheran last season.
He has a high ceiling and I’m interested in seeing him in person for the first time.
Highlights
Foster has a big frame and had a nice sophomore season for Huntington Beach last season.
He had 455 yards receiving with four touchdowns.
Vinson is a big linebacker who can flat out tackle.
He had two interceptions last seasons and I am interested in seeing him compete in pass coverage Sunday.
Highlights
Trocchio is on the younger side for his class but has a solid frame and big hands.
He completed 60 percent of his passes for 1226 yards with 11 touchdowns last season. The quarterback field is stacked on Sunday and I am interested to see where Trocchio stacks up.
