This past weekend, over 150 high school football prospects converged on the Plymouth Soccer Dome for what became an excellent day of testing, positional drills, coaching, improvement, and competition. There was top-tier talent, depth, darkhorses, new names who exploded onto the state's radar, excellent underclassmen, and size across the board. However, only the select few could be named to the All-Camp Team. With the First Time going live earlier today, it's time to name the accomplished All-Camp Second Team, filled to the brim with the high school talent, upside, and accomplishment, with some raw and youthful young bucks just itching to get some varsity action and reps under their belts mixed in as well. Get to know the Second Team selections below, and congrats to all of the top performers! What a Showcase it was.

--

Quarterbacks

Bib #83: [player_tooltip player_id='1120517' first='Blake' last='Sieben'] (Anoka) 2027. 5'10, 150 lbs.

Solid day for the freshman signal-caller out of Anoka. I liked his footwork, and Sieben also looked good throwing on the move and when rolling out. Happy to get him on the 2027 rankings soon.

Bib #102: [player_tooltip player_id='1029336' first='Caden' last='Gutzmer'] (Minnetonka) 2027. 6'1, 175 lbs.

The young gunslinger tested well and has a good foundation of technique and arm ability for a young buck. Still a lot of runway left in his development and recruitment, but Gutzmer has a good arm and is a good athlete for his age. Lots of competition in that Tonka QB room this fall.

Running Backs

Bib #4: [player_tooltip player_id='551390' first='Mason' last='Helfmann'] (St. Louis Park) 2026. 5'9, 190 lbs.

Solid all around showing from the sophomore. Has done a good job building muscle this offseason and looked impressive physically. Tested well and was competitive through drills and 1-on-1s.

Bib #74: [player_tooltip player_id='1248656' first='TJ' last='Peterson'] (Prior Lake) 2025. 5'9, 165 lbs.

A new Prior Lake Lakers prospect to add to the rankings, Peterson was a ball of lightning on Saturday and brought a noticeable and impressive amount of speed to the Showcase and the RB group. Burst, speed at the top-end, and pace out of his cuts, Peterson was comfortable and effective in space and kept LBs guessing, chasing, and regretting during 1-on-1s. Good day for the rising senior.

Bib #91: [player_tooltip player_id='923832' first='Carson' last='Turner'] (Chaska) 2026. 5'11, 190 lbs.

Great showing by sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='923832' first='Carson' last='Turner'], who will be competing for the title of RB1 in MN's 2026 class once that rankings update goes live this week. Tested well and showed some speed at a legit 190+ pounds, fluid and smooth when changing direction, brings a firey and intense mentality to competition, and above all, was physical. His pass pro reps were great, he's an advanced route runner for his age and position, and is effective, quick, and shifty in space when avoiding LBs and pursuers. Great package of an athlete and RB for a sophomore. Can't wait to keep following this young buck's development and recruitment.

Bib #62: [player_tooltip player_id='1120514' first='Angel' last='Velasquez-Jaimes'] (Rochester Mayo) 2025. 5'3, 150 lbs.

Not the biggest prospect in attendance, I came away impressed with Angel's toughness, as this kid responded to and improved throughout 1-on-1s and competition, and although he took a lick or two, he came back hungry for more and responded with some of his best reps of the day. Mayo's been building them tough as of late.

Bib #17: [player_tooltip player_id='348727' first='Layne' last='Johnson'] (Farmington) 2025. 5'11, 205 lbs.

Another positive testament to the Farmington Tigers strength & conditioning program, Johnson looked good and played well, owning a solid and powerful build that went 4.71 in the 40 during the testing portion of the PrepRedzoneMN Combine Series showcase, one of the better times of the day.

Wide Receivers

Bib #40: [player_tooltip player_id='1246549' first='Braden' last='Thronson'] (Chisholm) 2025. 6'1, 160 lbs.

Outstate product showed up well in Plymouth, where he caught my eye during drill work and 1-on-1s. Thronson is long, owns a good frame that a college program could take advantage of, and was smooth, powerful, and controlled out of his breaks.

Bib #63: [player_tooltip player_id='1205643' first='Mason' last='Helland'] (Byron) 2026. 5'5, 140 lbs.

One of a strong contingent of Byron Bears to make their way to Plymouth and find success at the PRzMN Combine Series, I saw Helland come away with some eye-catching receptions during 1-on-1s and showed strong contested catch capability, especially for his size.

Bib #67: [player_tooltip player_id='1241423' first='Connor' last='McPhee'] (Forest Lake) 2025. 5'8, 160 lbs.

This is now the second offseason event I've seen and came away impressed by the Forest Lake slot receiver. Strong 160 lber. who flies out of his breaks, I saw McPhee come down with some highlight-reel worthy receptions throughout 1-on-1s. Great concentration, strong hands, and attacks the ball out of the air, you can tell his 7-on-7 background has helped him grow quite confident as a route runner and when going up for the football. He was hard to manage for DBs out of the slot this Saturday in Plymouth.

Bib #70: [player_tooltip player_id='544964' first='Camar' last='Blades'] (Park Center) 2026. 5'8, 135 lbs.

A PRzMN Showcase veteran and multi-time standout despite still being only a sophomore, Blades once again showed out and was a handful for opposing DBs as a route runner. Quick, naturally understands and takes advantage of DBs overreaching, getting out of position, or over-committing, Blades is nasty at the top of the route and comfortable and effective running a variety of routes all around the field. Soft hands, great COD ability, and has improved on his testing times and numbers every showcase he's been to. I really like the depth and variety of talent the Park Center program holds going into the fall, and I'm expecting Blades to have a breakout season as a junior in 2024.

Bib #96: [player_tooltip player_id='1163811' first='Darion' last='Graham'] (Lakeville South) 2026. 6', 180 lbs.

I liked and noticed Graham's coachability, long frame, and strong hands. He looked good during drill work and had a solid overall showing this past Saturday in Plymouth.

Bib #99: [player_tooltip player_id='924228' first='Jacob' last='Hartman'] (Southwest) 2026. 6', 160 lbs.

The Minneapolis product is a good athlete who owns an impressive blend of speed and quickness that he used well during the afternoon of competition. Technically sound, big catch radius, soft hands, and is poised for a big junior season with the Lakers.

Offensive Line

Bib #116: [player_tooltip player_id='1248641' first='John' last='Seemann'] (Mound Westonka) 2025. 6'1, 215 lbs.

Not the biggest blocker in attendance, Seemann still owns the build of an interior offensive lineman, showing off broad shoulders, a thick 215 lb. frame that showed up in both his upper and lower body, and a ton of strength during 1-on-1 competition. Seemann was strong at the point of attack, used consistent hand placement to his advantage, and operated with a wide base and balance that could withstand even the most powerful of bull rushes. Good showing all afternoon by the rising senior.

Bib #122: [player_tooltip player_id='1248654' first='Ryan' last='Brinkman'] (Detroit Lakes) 2025. 6'2, 240 lbs.

Detroit Lakes' prospects have a habit of showing up and showing out at PrepRedzoneMN events, and Brinkman kept the momentum going at this past Saturday's PRzMN Combine Series stop. Super tough, brought a ton of strength to the point of attack, was competitive against the event's top pass rushers, and battled his butt off between the whistles to try and earn some hard-fought Ws during 1-on-1s. I liked his game as both a run and pass blocker.

Bib #123: [player_tooltip player_id='551332' first='Carson' last='Lund'] (Maple Grove) 2025. 6'2, 250 lbs.

Excelled and was impressive in the physical aspects of the PRzMN Combine Series, Lund was strong, showed good balance and footwork, and was especially adapt at finishing reps and blocks. When he got his paws on an opponent, Lund drove his feet nonstop to work them out of the play, and he did well against a variety of pass rushers last Saturday. The Crimson's OL has some studs in 2024.

Bib #133: [player_tooltip player_id='1120560' first='Laklen' last='Vogel'] (Rocori) 2025. 6'2, 285 lbs.

Another new OL name I was pumped to see in-person last Saturday, Rocori Spartan 2025 iOL Vogel shut down some of the top pass rushers in attendance in Plymouth and showed off lateral agility and balance as well as a strong anchor that could withstand even the strongest power rushes. Great job by the rising senior in pass pro against big school Metro competition. He'll make a college program very happy soon.

Defensive Line

Bib #19: [player_tooltip player_id='1248658' first='Wyatt' last='Konkler'] (Blaine) 2026. 6', 232 lbs.

Strong showing from the 2026er on Saturday who very much played his way into a ranking due to his individual performance, especially during 1-on-1s. Showed his best stuff during competition, Konkler used his naturally low pad level to get underneath blockers and used an effective blend of quickness and speed to win reps against high-quality OL competition. Liked his hand usage as well. Came alive during competition and had some strong reps against upperclassmen opponents.

Bib #47: Sonte Lajeunesse (Bloomington Kennedy) 2025. 6'2, 220 lbs.

The Kennedy rising senior won some reps during 1-on-1s with his effective hand usage and ability to counter. Did well against the opposing high-quality OL group.

Bib #118: [player_tooltip player_id='901018' first='Bryce' last='Nordlund'] (Zimmerman) 2026. 6'1, 240 lbs.

Large and well-built sophomore already measuring in at more than 240 pounds. Nordlund flashed some strong reps and won some hard-fought battles in 1-on-1s, and used an effective arm-over to his advantage and showing off some noticeable twitch as well.

Bib #120: [player_tooltip player_id='1248621' first='Caleb' last='Kurtti'] (Goodhue) 2025. 6'2, 215 lbs.

Had some good reps and good wins during 1-on-1 competition in Plymouth. I liked Kurtti's first step off the snap, and he also threw out a smooth spin move once or twice for good effect as well.

Bib #141: [player_tooltip player_id='1248652' first='Rajon' last='Gamble'] (Duluth Denfeld) 2025. 6'2, 300 lbs.

A DT out of the 218 who showed up and showed out on Saturday, Gamble was a new name to me but certainly impressed, cultivating a great showing during 1-on-1s and really giving OL more than they could handle after the snap. One of the most powerful DL in attendance, Gamble know how to use it, moving mass and muscle when he got his large and aggressive hands on opponents, moving them against their will far into the backfield. At times, he flashed utter physical dominance. Pumped to get him on my radar after Saturday. Great work, Rajon.

Bib #135: [player_tooltip player_id='592126' first='Skyler' last='Werner'] (Prior Lake) 2026. 6'2, 260 lbs.

I was stoked to see Prior Lake's experienced, developed, and powerful sophomore sensation Werner up close and personal last Saturday, and although the hype was already very high around the 2026 3T for the 6A giant, Werner somehow rose his stock even higher. Clocked a 5.1 40 at 260+ pounds for a very exciting start to his afternoon and kept the good times coming during positional drills and 1-on-1 competition. Werner fired off the ball impressively, overall showed off awesome mobility and control, and showed off an effective ability to counter OL and string together multiple pass rush moves and skills. Also was noticeably powerful and strong at the point of attack and had a mean bull rush to boot.

Linebackers

Bib #61: [player_tooltip player_id='923835' first='Aidan' last='Boche'] (Park of Cottage Grove) 2026. 6'4, 205 lbs.

Couldn't help but notice Boche's frame, as he was all of 6'4 and a little over 200 pounds. He's got the chance to grow into monstrous proportions after he hits a growth spurt and especially when he gets to college. Was also a front-of-the-line kid and looked comfortable rushing the passer, tracking and pursuing in space, and in coverage.

Bib #110: [player_tooltip player_id='936541' first='Jack' last='Carlson'] (Goodhue) 2026. 6', 215 lbs.

Good size for a rising junior linebacker who owns an already thick, wide, and powerful build that is still growing and developing. I liked Carlson's pass-rushing skillset and ability, and he showed up well in a variety of drills, competition, and settings. Versatile and strong, he's another exciting name to add to the loaded MN 2026 LB crop of talent.

Bib #115: [player_tooltip player_id='1247978' first='Alex' last='Netzke'] (Eden Prairie) 2026. 6'1, 215 lbs.

Another Eden Prairie sophomore linebacker I am very excited to add to my radar and the upcoming 2026 MN rankings big board, Netzke struck a physically imposing figure and was a big and powerful 6'1, 215 pounds with more room to grow and fill in. He also moved well, showing both lateral COD ability and the play speed to stay with explosive RBs in space and when running routes deep downfield.

Bib #31: [player_tooltip player_id='1248633' first='Hunter' last='Hanegraaf'] (Forest Lake) 2025. 6'1, 190 lbs.

Good size, tall, has the frame that can really peak in college, and looked good in the LB vs. RB in-the-box drills where changing direction and tracking a RBs hip is key. Good new name to know out of a loaded Forest Lake program going into the fall.

Bib #44: [player_tooltip player_id='1120625' first='Luke' last='Henry'] (Eden Prairie) 2026. 6'2, 210 lbs.

Eye-catcher coming from the 6A powerhouse that is Eden Prairie, Henry was a well-built sophomore who tested well, brought a ton of strength to the table, was technically sound and consistent, and tore up the competition with his play speed. Looked good in coverage and in space when tracking and staying with RBs.

Defensive Backs

Bib #6: [player_tooltip player_id='1248618' first='Blake' last='Kamphoff'] (Mankato East) 2027. 5'10, 175 lbs.

Thick and solid build, especially for a freshman. Looked fluid in his backpedal, was coachable, and overall looked and played above what his graduating class would suggest.

Bib #10: [player_tooltip player_id='1248657' first='Vaugn' last='Feely'] (Eden Prairie) 2025. 5'10, 180 lbs.

Owned an eye-catching upper body and was technically sound through position-specific training and drill work.

Bib #45: [player_tooltip player_id='1248628' first='Devon' last='Luckas'] (Anoka) 2026. 6'2, 190 lbs.

Great size that you couldn't help but notice throughout the afternoon of competition. Tall, long, well-framed sophomore 6A safety who worked out of the slot in coverage. Good hips and used that wingspan well to break up passes around the fied and was competitive against experienced competition.

Bib #81: [player_tooltip player_id='1248625' first='Curt' last='Herrera'] (Eastview) 2025. 5'10, 180 lbs.

I saw the Eastview junior DB win some solid reps throughout the day of competition and brought a balanced and confident skillset in coverage to the event.

Bib #33: [player_tooltip player_id='1248065' first='Andrew' last='Bartnes'] (Detroit Lakes) 2025. 6'1, 170 lbs.

Consistently caught my eye throughout all three portions of the showcase, Bartnes is yet another testament to the recently prolific Detroit Lakes S&C program, which has been manufacturing ready-to-go college athletes at an impressive pace as of late. Good 40, went 4.28 in the short-shuttle, and brings a ton of length to the table at 6'1 and still growing. Was fluid in defensive back drills and translated it well to 1-on-1s, where he was competitive and disruptive at the catch point and consistently stayed on receivers hips.

https://twitter.com/OJW_Scouting/status/1779346339169505398
