Breaking out and having a stellar year is the small school back from Western. He was someone I met a few summers ago at a camp and saw potential, but he needed to develop. Well, he has and he’s on his way to becoming a top back in the class. He’s versatile, has great vision, and can handle a full workload. 1600 yards and on the ground, another 100 yards through the air, and 14 total TDs landed McKitrick where he is now. He’s talented and should only continue to grow over the next few years, so he shouldn’t have an issue finding a home when the time comes.
New Rank: 28

Adeoba is such a great raw athlete that he’s able to have success just about anywhere you put him on the field. He’s well built and has a lengthy frame that can chew up yardage. His closing speed is elite and he typically takes good angles to get to the ball. He’s got the range and size to play in the 2nd level as well as the speed and vision to play in the backend. His versatility and ability to be moved around is something that could really help him down the road since he’ll see the game from different perspectives. 70 tackles, 7 TFLs, 2 sacks, and an interception rounded out his sophomore campaign, but there should be plenty more to come.

Lumbreras is a developing athlete whose future on where he can play on the field is still up in the air because of the versatility and athletic ability he has. He’s so nimble and has such great change of direction you could argue for him to be on either side of the ball, which is where he’s been to this point in his career. He’s also been hard at work in the weight room this winter preparing for the opportunity ahead. If Lumbreras develops like he could and breaks out this fall, he could end up throwing his name in towards the top of the class.

There might not be any player in Indiana starting to heat up anymore than Campbell. The younger brother MJ Campbell, the Louisville commit, Mykul may give his brother a run for his money about who is the better player when it’s all said and done. Mykul is an elite athlete who patrols the backend of the defense. He’s able to cover sideline to sideline and has great instincts. He’s willing to come up and play the run as well as being able to make open field tackles look easy. He’s quickly picked up a few offers already, but those are likely the first of many yet to come.
Williams transferred down to Lawrence Central from Northrop this past season and it may have been the best thing for him. He’s put on a good 25lbs of muscle and is playing against some of the state’s best competition. He’s got a great frame, has incredibly strong hands, and bends as well as you’d hope for a guy his size. He’s nimble on his feet as well and doesn’t get caught on his heels. He’s got all the makings of a D1 OL recruit and he’s well on his way if he continues to develop and play like he is.
