I first saw Nichols at a camp hosted by PrepRedzone a couple of years ago when he was only just a freshman. At the time there were a lot of things to like about Nichols game. Fast forward two years later and Nichols is now one of the best players in the state of Michigan. He has legitimate power that makes him so effective whether he is reach blocking, down blocking, or getting out and pulling. Nichols has the ability with his explosiveness and strength to move defensive ends out of the play on zone run plays. He is outstanding at helping to execute double team blocks. His feet are quick and very calm and they allow him to drop into pass protection with ease. Nichols simply is a beast and it is fun to watch him to continue to get better and better.
Marcello Vitti Marcello Vitti 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Divine Child | 2026 State MI | ATH | Divine Child | Hudl | Twitter
Vitti has elite burst and speed. He is a serious threat to return kicks to the house every time he touches the ball. He primarily plays running back and safety for Divine Child. I like that the Divine Child coaching staff will put him close to the line of scrimmage so that he is closer to ball carriers and can track them down easier. Vitti shows good strength as a runner as well and has no problem breaking tackles. He has good contact balance and can quickly get back up to top speed after being bumped. Vitti’s speed is certainly no joke and in the open field more times than not he is taking it the distance. Vitti is a very good football player who just keeps getting better.
Isaiah Harris Isaiah Harris 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Saline | 2026 State MI | DE | Saline | Hudl | Twitter
Harris is a guy I have watched since he was a freshman two years ago. Harris at the time was already a very good player, but you can tell he the potential to keep getting better and develop into a dominate edge rusher. Harris had a breakout season for Saline this past season becoming one of their true difference makers. Harris can really close on quarterbacks in a hurry when he is blitzing. He is a physical player who can deliver big hits on ball carriers. Harris shows the versatility to not only blitz from the outside but from the inside gaps as well. I watch Saline play frequently and Harris’ play has stood out in every game I have watched.
Tommy Carr Tommy Carr 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Saline | 2026 State MI | QB | Saline | Hudl | Twitter
Tommy Carr Tommy Carr 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Saline | 2026 State MI will most likely be the starting quarterback for Saline next season. Carr has really good touch and shows the ability to consistently hit wide receivers in stride. He has ideal size for the position at 6-2 and utilizes it fully by standing tall in the pocket. Carr can navigate the pocket well and has no problem making accurate throws on the run. I watched his brother CJ Carr CJ Carr 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Saline | 2024 State MI play for many years at Saline. I am excited to watch Tommy Carr Tommy Carr 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Saline | 2026 State MI play now.
Owen Winder Owen Winder 6'7" | 285 lbs | OL Dexter | 2026 State MI | OL | Dexter | Hudl | Twitter
Winder has great strength and really excels at down blocking. He has the ability to drive a player completely away from the play. His strength in the upper body is very apparent when he is blocking defenders. defenders really struggle to get off Winder once once he has his hands on them. I watch Dexter play frequently and have been impressed by the talented players they have. Winder is a very good player that I look forward to seeing play in 2024.
