Believe it or not, we are already in the month of April, and the off-season continues to fly by. Many of the top prospects across the state of Pennsylvania and the country are deep into their recruitments, beginning to make decisions, take official visits, and more. However, for most 2025 high school prospects their recruitments have yet to begin. That being said, they will begin to see that process take place this spring and summer as they travel across the commonwealth and country to take part in camps. That being said, there are quite a few quarterbacks in the state of Pennsylvania that we will be keeping a close eye on this spring and into the summer. We take a look at five of them below.

Traditional drop-back passer who shows off very good arm strength with a mostly effortless delivery. Easily has the ability to chuck the pigskin 40-50 yards downfield. Shows good accuracy and the ability to put the ball into tight windows throughout the field, consistently has a nice touch on his passes, especially when throwing with anticipation. His junior film also shows the ability for him to extend plays with his legs and throw on the run. Routinely shows off a good feel and vision of the field, keeps his eyes downfield to find an open man. Nice tight spiral though will have a few wobbles here and there. Overall, a very promising quarterback with considerable upside. He definitely has the talent to play at the FCS level and could even catch the attention of some Group 5 programs this offseason or next fall with another strong senior season.u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["255085"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eBrady Heiser is a quarterback we've discussed many times at PRZ, and I'm sure we'll continue to talk about him over the next few months. A very good, productive quarterback for Gettysbrug, throwing for 2,400 yards as a junior along with 34 touchdowns. Has been a three-time All-Conference selection as well. Good arm strength and has the ability to make accurate throws at all levels. Shows good poisee as tall as good athleticism that should be able to translate to the college game. It will be interesting to see how he matches up against the more elite athletes but he has enough athleticism to extend plays and pick up valuable yardage. Does a great job of keeping his eyes downfield, sees the field very well overall both as a passer and ball carrier and throws the ball with good anticipation. u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["386099"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eThe key cog that makes the Danville high-powered offense work. Patrick is a really fun quarterback to watch on tape and somebody I think has a lot of potential at the next level projects very well to a FCS quarterback or Division II quarterback has received interest from Penn State where he would project as a potential walk-on as well. Also had just under 200 rushing yards and four additional touchdowns on the ground as a very completion percent of 65% and has improved his actually throughout his high school career and we hope to see that continue in a senior season. u003c/spanu003ernrnu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eAnother good size quarterback at about 6-foot-0 and 200 pounds. Arm strength is solid, not as strong as others in this class, but there is plenty of enough to work there, just will need to become more consistent. What makes Madden a very good quarterback is his high football IQ. He's played for some fantastic coaches at Danville and you can see that in his game. Dual-threat capabilities, very good athlete, who has the athleticism and agility to make multiple men miss on a run, it should translate pretty well to the next level.u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["284324"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eMoving on to [player_tooltip player_id='284324' first='Carson' last='Heinle'] of Kiski Area, a two time All-Conference quarterback and two time team MVP for Kiski. Much more of a prototypical pocket passing quarterback. A nice frame of about 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds and plays strong safety for Kiski Area.u003c/spanu003ernrnu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eQuality production in his junior season totaling just under 2.300 yards including 1800 passing yards with 19 touchdowns in just five interceptions, worthy to note that he is a left handed quarterback. His mechanics are solid, but will most definitely need work at the next level, if he wants to take the next step as a quarterback, there's enough to work with for sure, but there will have to be cleaned up as well. Shows good arm strength and shows to have a quality touch on the ball. His accuracy is solid, and has appeared to get better and better each year of his career at Kiski Area. Excited to see what he can do in that aspect as a senior, despite not being the most athletic quarterback, with a 40 yard dash time of 4.9s, he does have some athleticism in his game, and can make plays with his legs. Won't make game changing runs on a routine basis but has the ability to be productive. Overall, a quality quarterback prospect worth a look at for FCS programs and top Division II programs. u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["598736"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eAdmittedly, there is not much newer tape on the Pope John Paul II quarterback, Luke Taleski.u003c/spanu003ernrnu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eThat being said there is promise of what is available for the Royersford native. He has an ideal frame at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds and will be able to add another 20 to 30 pounds on his frame before he plays at the collegiate level; which will make an opposing quarterback and behind center. u003c/spanu003ernrnu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eHe has not necessarily had the opportunity to show his abilities on a consistent basis, due to playing in a run-heavy office at PJP2. That being said, this dual sport athlete, who is also a very good baseball player, has the skill set and tangibles to be a productive quarterback at both the high school and collegiate levels. I will be very interested to see if he has any camp dates set up for the spring and summer as those camps will become all the more important for him with the lack of overall tape as a junior. Very excited to see what he can do in a senior season at PJP2. But may have to ultimately choose between baseball and football to pursue at the college level. As a quarterback he shows quality arm strength, vision, and accuracy. Overall, it really just comes down to getting an opportunity to see more of Taleski and his abilities due to the offense that he is in as well as the lack of any extended junior highlight film. u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-661879f28777c"} /-->
