I am going to break up my series of Top Offensive Linemen into 2 sections. Here is the second part series of the top Offensive Linemen in Western New York entering their Junior season. Some of them are two-way starters so their future may lie on the defensive side of the ball.
A two-year varsity starter, Jor-el Lee Jor-el Lee 6’5″ | 290 lbs | OL Kenmore West | 2026 State NY is a top O Line prospect in Western New York for the Class of 2026. He has shown adaptability playing on the right side of the line as well as the left, along with playing both Guard and Tackle. Lee plays with a mean streak. He has great lower body strength that gives him the leverage over his adversaries. Jor-el is powerful and strong and is a bully on the field. He will be highly sought after in his junior season.
William Wortkoetter
William Wortkoetter
William Wortkoetter is the best O Line prospect that most people in the area don’t know about. Playing for a small school like Wilson, Wortkoetter doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. But he hits with aggression, has phenomenal power and is always blocking to the whistle. He is also incredibly versatile; in 2 seasons, he has gone from anchoring the line playing Center as a freshmen to playing Left Tackle in his sophomore year. William has a great kick step and is gifted with a unique blend of quickness and power.
Jamiere Hemphill
Jamiere Hemphill
A two-way dynamic player, Jamiere Hemphill played both sides of the ball for the Macks. He is a massive presence and fast for his size. As a Center, he made 2nd team All-League in 2023. He is strong, has excellent awareness and plays smart. As a part-time Defensive Tackle, Hemphill showed his endurance and dexterity accounting for 29 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble. Jamiere Hemphill should be highly scouted as a junior but which side of the ball he will be looked at is still in the air.
Ben Foglia-Albrecht Ben Foglia-Albrecht 6'3" | 255 lbs | OL St. Joseph Collegiate Inst. | 2026 NY
Ben Foglia-Albrecht Ben Foglia-Albrecht 6'3" | 255 lbs | OL St. Joseph Collegiate Inst. | 2026 NY
Ben Foglia-Albrecht Ben Foglia-Albrecht 6’3″ | 255 lbs | OL St. Joseph Collegiate Inst. | 2026 NY spent the 2023 season playing on St. Joe’s JV team, where they averaged 6 yards per carry and allowed just 12 sacks as a whole in 7 games. Ben was the most consistent and explosive of all the Marauder linemen. He has a big body presence and has the ability to drive his opponent off the ball and overpower him. Foglia-Albrecht is an excellent pass protector and can reach the second level to take on LBs in the run game.
Rey Cruz
Rey Cruz
Rey Cruz is an intriguing prospect. Cruz has good footwork and is quick. He is a pulling Guard that uses his size to push around defenders. He has long arms and good size, but he is pretty green. He stands at 6’3 275 lbs so the potential is there. The next two seasons will show what kind of improvements he has made.
Cole Reilly
Cole Reilly
Cole Reilly was St. Joe’s starting Right Guard on JV last season. He is fast and plays with determination. Cole has a high motor and is always blocking to the whistle. While O Line is where most of his contributions came as a sophomore, he did showed agility as a backup D Lineman, recording 7 tackles (3 for loss) and a blocked punt in a critical mid-season game. Reilly has all the potential in the world but 2024 will show what strides he has made in the last year.
