This 2026 class in general is legit, but these Q's have off the charts potential that I'm really excited about. These guys have very impressive tape with their best yet to come. Take a look at some of the my personal predictions on which 2026 QB's can set the tone for the next few years:

[player_tooltip player_id='739440' first='Tait' last='Reynolds'], Queen Creek

Reynolds is an impressive all around athlete and is currently an Arizona State baseball commit. Reynolds has all the potential to light up the state as he possesses a fluid upper body with great torque on throws on top of his excellent arm strength. Definitely one of the strongest arms in the state as he can let it fly downfield or hit throws with velocity in tight windows. Really technically sound kid with loads of potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='401159' first='Donivan' last='Dixon'], Cactus Shadows

I don't think Dixon is talked about enough, as he is one of the most dangerous dual threats in the state and looks like a lock to have a breakout season for 5A Cactus Shadows. Dixon threw for over 2,000 yards and rushed for over 1,000 yards while adding 24 TD's through the air and 12 on the ground. He displays a great pocket presence and delivers with a smooth, fluid release and flashes excellent ball placement. Really good field vision all around. If you give him some space he'll pull it down and takeoff and be a threat to take it to the house, but will also sit back and dice up defenses with his arm and reads. A very impressive player that currently holds a Utah offer and should see them flood in barring he plays as expected.

[player_tooltip player_id='401158' first='Dominic' last='Carmigiano'], Chandler

Carmigiano sizes up with a 6'3" 180lb frame and possesses some really impressive intangibles. He delivers with a lightning quick release with a flick of the wrist which really gets some good velo on the ball. I personally think he's a sleeper QB which sounds crazy since he's at such a successful at top program at Chandler, but I think he has all the tools and ability to put up big numbers as a 1st year starter and lead Chandler deep into the open per usual.

[player_tooltip player_id='739443' first='Marcel' last='Jones'], Saguaro

Jones transferred over to Saguaro from rival Chaparral and will have a shot to lead a highly respected program back to the open division playoffs after missing it a season ago. Jones is a dual threat kid with loads of intangibles that I've been talking about a lot recently. Good pocket mechanics with a smooth release, and I really like his precise ball placement on certain throws. Excellent speed and COD when he takes off and should be a big play guy as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='212203' first='Jayden' last='Pico'], Liberty

There will be a ton of eyes and a big target on Pico this year, as he looks to be in line to takeover for the defending open division champs and fill shoes of the former player of the year in Bruzon. A legit escape artist with playmaker ability, but can also sit in the pocket and deliver dimes. I think this will be Pico's breakout year, as he's set up in perfect position to do so.

[player_tooltip player_id='739454' first='Kainan' last='Manna'], Centennial

The way Manna played last year, you would have no idea that he was only a sophomore. He possesses excellent mental maturity and football IQ and did a terrific job taking care of the football. According to MaxPreps stats, he only threw one INT in 2023. Accurate ball placement and he does a great job anticipating throws with timing. Very athletic when he decides to pull it down and run as he flashes good twitch and COD. I think 2024 will be his breakout season as he continues to grow and mature through the spring and into the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134311' first='Gunner' last='Fagrell'], Higley

Fagrell is a wild card and his role is unknown as of right now, but he has absolutely proven that he has the talent to play at an elite level, leading Higley to a 5A state championship victory a season ago. After taking over for [player_tooltip player_id='368911' first='Luke' last='Haugo'] due to the transfer rule and then to an injury, Fagrell made it look easy as he ended up putting up 37 total TD's with over 3,000 yards passing. Higley has to have the best QB room in the state right now with two top gunslingers, and regardless of which direction they end up going, Fagrell can flat out play and shows all the tools to land a D1 offer.
