Stevens is coming off a very impressive second season campaign for Servite, and is part of a very young overall team that should continue to make some noise this Fall and look to make another playoff run like they did this year. Stevens is a snappy inside player that gets off the ball quickly, shoots his hands and locks out while able to get off blocks with violence, eat up double teams and get into the backfield in a hurry. He shows block recognition, has quick pre-snap movement and uses his height to out leverage blockers while getting underneath them and creating immediate knock-back. He also shows strong pursuit to the ball and is a high motor kid that will have tons of Varsity experience heading into his Junior campaign.
Highlights
The 2026 prospect is a tremendous athlete from his OT position, and has great movement abilities in space, good feet in pass protection and helps anchor both sides of the line for Los Al. Offensively, he snaps out of his stance and can easily win against speed rushers with quick feet, lateral movement abilities and good body control when creating a pocket. He knows when to drop and anchor, while using his hands and violence punch to get defenders hands down quickly in their rush. When blocking at the second level, he does a nice job at taking the proper angles to linebackers and can sustain blocks downfield while finishing with nasty intentions. Defensively, he is twitchy and shows a quick use of hands at the POA while able to bend in tight windows and has impressed at multiple stops this off-season on the defensive side of the ball. Scrivens has played against some of the top talent in the state as only a second year guy, and should take a big leap into year three this season and draw college interest as he is a no brainer next level kid.
Evans is one of the better two-way players in the region coming off a very nice Sophomore campaign, and is a still developing player with the frame for tons of growth potential as he packs on weight and size. Defensively, he is a long pass rusher that covers a ton of ground off the ball, shows some closing speed around the edge and will only continue to improve upon his strike and short area twitch/movement abilities and using his length to his advantage. Offensively from his tight end position, he is a big target with a good catch radius, strong hands in traffic and does a nice job at using his size to box out smaller defenders and make plays on the ball while getting up-field quickly after the catch. Evans is in line for a true breakout Junior season campaign and is a key name to note across the region as we head into the summer.
