Midland Trail 2026 offensive lineman Gregory Cramer Gregory Cramer 6’3″ | 255 lbs | OL Midland Trail | 2026 State WV has a limited sample size of highlights available right now but flashed some good things with the film he does shave. The 6’3 255 big man saw reps at both left and right tackle for the Patriots last season and can slide inside at the next level depending on how much he grows and develops over the next two years. Cramer showed he has quality footwork for a young lineman and moved well on a few of his clips. While he may not face the toughest of competition at the small school level, Cramer competed against some smaller but quick edge players and was able to kick slide, and stay in front of them which is a good sign for his athletic athletic ability. You saw flashes of physicality as well, and Cramer appears to have a good base to build on moving forward. With limited film, we’re betting on Cramer to continue making strides in his development and will get a better idea of his talent level once more film is available. However, the flashes were there to warrant an early Top 20 OL ranking for the 2026 class at this time.

Liberty-Raleigh 2026 offensive lineman Connor Acord Connor Acord 6’1″ | 280 lbs | OL Liberty-Raleigh | 2026 State WV has been on our radar for a while and makes his debut in the rankings during the spring update as a Top 125 player and the #21 OL in the class. The 6’1 280 rising junior has been a steady player for the Raiders on both sides of the line but projects as an offensive guard to the next level. Acord saw snaps at center as well during his sophomore season which is an intriguing spot for him and a position he could develop into a solid prospect at. He’s a physical run blocker who’s built for the interior running game and a mauler inside. Acord is a stout young lineman who can continue making strides in the weight room over the off-season which will take his game to the next level. The upper-body strength was apparent on film, and you can tell he has a wrestling background from the way he uses his hands and the leverage he plays with. Footwork and agility are a work in progress, but Acord has shown some good early signs of developing into a quality OL college prospect.

Jefferson offensive lineman Kip Waldeck Kip Waldeck 6’1″ | 230 lbs | OL Jefferson | 2026 State WV is a bit undersized right now but is a young lineman that we liked a lot when watching his sophomore highlight tape. Although he needs to catch up in size, Waldeck is a strong young player for the Cougars who anchored their line last season from his center position. He’s spent quality time in the weight room to this point and his ceiling will continue to rise as he puts on more size. Waldeck handled bigger defensive linemen well last season even when giving up some size and probably surprised them with his physicality and technique. His fundamentals are very good for a young center which gives him a leg up while he continues to fill out over the next two years. I thought he also moved well and has sound footwork for his age at a tough position to play for younger linemen. Waldeck performed well on individual and double-team blocks who could more than hold his own on zero techs last season. His ceiling and ranking will rise as he continues getting bigger as the talent and athletic ability are already there to build around.

Hurricane quarterback Eian Duffy Eian Duffy 5’11” | 160 lbs | QB Hurricane | 2026 State WV is in a tough situation due to the high level of talent that’s been ahead of him in the Redskins’ QB room for the past two seasons. He’s still patiently waiting his turn before he gets to take over the quarterback reins barring injury with top-ranked 2025 QB/ATH Noah Vellaithambi Noah Vellaithambi 5’11” | 205 lbs | ATH Hurricane | 2025 State WV returning to quarterback for the 2024 season. The 5’11 rising junior is a talented passer in his own right but has had D1 talent in front of him which could be a blessing for his development in the end while learning from some of the best quarterbacks in the state until he gets his shot. The very first clip in his sophomore JV tape makes your eyes widen as he flashes his athleticism rolling out and throwing a dot to the corner of the end zone from the 30-yard line while on the run. I’d wager he was one of the best JV quarterbacks in the state last season and made some throws you don’t often see at that level in a small state. Duffy is a playmaker in the pocket who can extend plays before throwing or can take off and be a dangerous runner with his athleticism. He also flashed the arm strength to stretch the field vertically and has the arm talent to make tough throws. Duffy operates like a veteran at that level who should be well prepared when his time comes at the varsity level. We’ve liked Duffy for a while and is a prospect who could make a big jump in the rankings once he gets some varsity film.
John Marshall posted a largely young team in 2023 as they continue to find their footing under a new head coach, but they have some promising young players in the program that are capable of developing into quality prospects in time which includes 2026 LB Donavan Jones Donavan Jones 6’2″ | 190 lbs | LB John Marshall | 2026 State WV . The 6’2 190 Jones is early in his development but flashed some good things on his sophomore tape and has the upside and potential you’re looking for in a young player. He’s a long and athletic kid who’s still filling out his frame but can run and cover ground quickly as an OLB. Jones is still very raw as a player, but the early varsity playing time should greatly benefit his development over the next two seasons and can make long strides over the next two years. With his combination of size and athleticism, you can mold Jones into a quality linebacker prospect in time, and is someone we are betting on to take the next steps in his game.
