John Marshall posted a largely young team in 2023 as they continue to find their footing under a new head coach, but they have some promising young players in the program that are capable of developing into quality prospects in time which includes 2026 LB Donavan Jones Donavan Jones 6'2" | 200 lbs | EDGE Linsly | 2026 WV . The 6’2 190 Jones is early in his development but flashed some good things on his sophomore tape and has the upside and potential you’re looking for in a young player. He’s a long and athletic kid who’s still filling out his frame but can run and cover ground quickly as an OLB. Jones is still very raw as a player, but the early varsity playing time should greatly benefit his development over the next two seasons and can make long strides over the next two years. With his combination of size and athleticism, you can mold Jones into a quality linebacker prospect in time, and is someone we are betting on to take the next steps in his game.
