Carrington took over the #1 spot in Nevada’s 2026 class after transferring over to Bishop Gorman from Georgia. He’s a strong, powerful athlete at 6’2”/260 with game-wrecking explosiveness and physicality on the defensive front-seven. He dominates the LOS with an explosive first step and quick, violent hands to shed. He shows great lateral range in pursuit and relentlessly attacks the backfield to create negative plays. Totaled an eye-opening 15 sacks and 22 TFLs in Georgia last season. Carrington- who holds 30+ D-I offers- has picked up offers from Oregon, Florida, and Washington in recent months.
Washington’s an elite two-sport athlete (football, basketball) with major upside in his natural ability and frame at 6’4”/200. He’s a long, extremely fluid playmaker that showed great range and closing speed at S last season (3 INTs, 37 tackles). He’s a pest in the passing lanes at every level of the defense using his eyes, length, and instincts to anticipate and react to the ball. He plays more physical than his lengthy frame would suggest and is a strong, reliable tackler in space with the open-field speed to track down ball-carriers all over the field. He should see more opportunities to showcase his talents on offense with the departure of some of BG’s top playmakers from last season. Washington’s added offers from Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Florida, Missouri, and Texas A&M since January.
Williams was one of the most impactful defenders for the 2023 HS national champions, leading the team in tackles (96), sacks (10), and TFLs (24) as a sophomore. He’s an explosive, athletic DE (6’3”/250) that plays with a rare level of focus in his technique and leverage for his age. He possesses the quickness, lateral agility, and flexibility to turn the corner against OTs and is planned and methodical in his pass-rush attack. He’s extremely disciplined against the run, pursues with relentless motor, and poses a matchup nightmare for slower-moving OL with his quick, twitchy movement. Williams added his first SEC offers from Tennessee and Florida since the start of the year.
Goodwin continues to ascend the national LB ranks after clearly establishing himself as the top LB prospect in Nevada’s 2026 class. Desert Pines’ sophomore LB is a well-rounded, versatile defender that showed great physicality and mobility as an off-ball defender and can rush the passer with speed and athleticism off the edge. He beats OTs to the spot with an explosive first step as an edge rusher and patrols the middle of the field from his ILB spot with sideline-to-sideline range and closing speed. Goodwin’s continued to add to his impressive offer list with Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Syracuse offering in recent months.
Jackson might be the most talented and electric playmaker with the ball in his hands in Nevada’s 2026 class. He proved to be a dangerous weapon in the return game as a sophomore with the speed, twitch, and elusiveness to create explosive, game-changing plays anytime he touches the ball. He’s highly skilled on both sides of the ball (WR/DB): creates easy separation as a route-runner and stresses defenses after the catch, and plays with great physicality and instincts from his S/nickel spot on defense. Jackson added a third SEC offer from Texas A&M and his first Big-10 offer from Washington in January.
