To continue 7v7 football coverage, here’s my 15U All-Tournament First Team.
In the first place spot on my list is Jeremiah Dent, an athlete for Arkansas Elite 7v7. Dent stood out offensively due to his ability to create excellent seperation on his way to the backfield. Dent also impressed me with his deceptive footwork and ability to juke out the defense to get wide open for the touchdown pass. Dent also proved his ability to haul in the short pass from along the edge.

I am additionally impressed with Vernon Slaughter, a quarterback for Yog Select 7v7. Slaughter made a considerable difference at the helm of the offense due to his quick release, precise decision-making and his ability to overwhelm the defense with his deep passing. Slaughter also stood out due to his ability to stay mobile on the ground and quickly scan the backfield for open receivers.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Sutton Gutting Sutton Gutting 6’5″ | 195 lbs | TE Ravenwood | 2027 TN , a tight end for TN Savages 7v7. What I like about Gutting is his solid height and wingspan, proving to be a challenge to contain for the defense with his ability to elevate off the ground to attack the pass. I also liked Gutting’s ability to quickly blast into the backfield and adapt to the defense in coverage to get to the ball first.

Kaiden Davis
Kaiden Davis
Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is Kaiden Davis, an athlete for Team Grind Hard 7v7. Davis impressed me defensively last weekend due to his ability to read the deep pass and use his physicality to contest throws. I also liked Davis due to his ability to read the offense like a book, predict the deep pass and get in prime position to haul in the interception.
Justin McGoy
Justin McGoy
Coming in at number five on my list is Justin McGoy, an athlete for Tennessee Wolfpack 7v7. McGoy made his presence known both offensively and defensively last weekend. McGoy impressed me with his ability to pick up bursts of speed off the snap, proving his offensive efficiency from along the edge. McGoy was also a huge defensive presence, using his wingspan to lock down receivers in the backfield.
