DR7 Tulsa Tourney – Stock Rising Receivers

We were able to check in on pool play Saturday and bracket play on Sunday. We saw a ton of Oklahoma talent on display and will have several spotlights throughout the next few days on Prep Redzone Oklahoma. In this article, we're putting the spotlight on the wide receivers. Now, this weekend's tournament was loaded with some really good receivers so we're breaking it down into three categories. Superstars, stock risers and reliable receivers. This post is all about the receivers who have their stock pointing squarely up. He's a stock riser and a reliable receiver. We've watched DeHart up close playing for Sooner 7 this offseason and last offseason. DeHart catches everything thrown his way. This weekend, he was at it again and made catch after catch and you can tell that he's progressing in a big way as a prospect. And that's why we have him on this breakdown. That, combined with [player_tooltip player_id='683730' first='Garrett' last='Vaughn'] graduating after being second on Bixby's team in receiving last fall. DeHart is the perfect replacement for Vaughn and does a lot of the same things. He's shifty, reliable and can make a lot happen in Bixby's offense. Watie was very impressive to watch this weekend and looks the part physically. He's long and the catch radius is very impressive. But it's the legit track speed that had us immediately writing his name down as a standout this weekend. Watie caught a ball on the sideline and turned on the jets and raced 25-30 yards for a touchdown. It was the speed that you only see from guys that are legit standouts on the track as well. Watie has that legit track speed and if Union can utilize him in the offense this fall, that's going to give them another weapon. Similar to DeHart, every time we've seen Farley in person this offseason, he's one of the more impressive wide receivers on the field. This weekend's tournament in Broken Arrow was the third time that we've watched Farley in person over the last six weeks and he continues to impress. The first thing that always stands out is his physical build and he's a nightmare for cornerbacks in one on one situations because of his size. This weekend, Farley made some pretty special plays, specifically on Saturday during pool play. Because we've seen him a few times already, there isn't much new to add here. He was an absolute star from the start of the weekend and it didn't slow down throughout the two days in Broken Arrow. Bethel made some spectacular catches and is going to be a name to watch. He got on our radar around this time last year as a freshman and he has made a very significant leap as a prospect in the last 12 months. We currently don't have Bethel ranked in our 2026 rankings. That's going to change. The sophomore is a playmaker on both sides of the ball but this weekend, he was at his best on offense.
