2027 Rankings Release: Quarterbacks

After already covering the 2025 and 2026 classes, we have now officially released our initial Top 75 rankings for the class of 2027. With that being said, I will be taking the next week or so to break down these rankings by position. To kick things off, here are our top quarterbacks in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["205472"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='205472' first='Emmett' last='Queen'] debuts as the top quarterback in his class after recently transferring to Covington Catholic from Elder (OH). The main thing that stands out to me with Queen is his arm strength which he is able to use to stretch the field and hit his receivers in stride in the deep passing game. He also puts a nice amount of touch on his passes, showing the ability to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He was very impressive in his first season, completing 162/272 passes for 2,071 yards, 21 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 11 games. Goodin does a great job of escaping pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. He also has the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. Kade is also very dangerous as a ball carrier where he is able to use his speed and elusiveness to break away on long runs. He finished this past season with 186 carries for 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns. Johnson completed 173/296 passes this past season for 2,289 yards, 30 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 15 games while leading Trinity to a 6A State Championship. Zane throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field and touch to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He is also impressive outside the pocket, showing the ability to keep his eyes down the field and make throws on the run. As a freshman, Partin completed 83/169 passes for 1,449 yards, 14 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in eight games. He has a cannon for an arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game. Partin is also impressive under pressure, showing the toughness to make throws down the field while taking on contact. Mack played in a backup role last season but still put together some impressive film. He has shown the arm strength to make throws all over the field and take the top off the secondary. However, he is just as dangerous as a ball carrier, showing the speed and elusiveness to break away for long runs at any given moment.
