Expert Analysis

Goodin had a historic night and looked like he was playing Madden on rookie. He completed 29-of-35 throws for 577 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding another 50 yards on the ground. He was letting it rip all night, showing off a big arm and consistently hitting guys deep downfield. The release looked quick, the ball was coming out clean, and he never seemed to slow down once he got rolling. It’s hard not to be impressed when a QB puts together a night like that. Those are video game numbers, and Goodin made it look easy.

completed 29-of-35 passing attempts for 577 yards and seven touchdowns during Week 2. He added another touchdown on the ground, including another 50 yards to his credit, as well. Goodin committed to Ball State back in April but has a high ceiling in college football. At 6’3″, he has great size for the position and an elite arm. What really impresses me when I watch Goodin play is his poise and ability to stand tall in the pocket in the face of pressure. He never gets caught flat-footed, and if he is flushed out of the pocket, he keeps his eyes down the field at his receivers.

will be looking to end his very impressive high school career on a high note with a strong senior year. He is coming off a productive junior season in which he completed 164/276 passes for 2,357 yards, 22 touchdowns, and only three interceptions in nine games. Kade has tremendous ball placement ability, throwing to spots on the field away from opposing defensive backs where only his intended receiver has a chance to make a play on the ball. He has also shown the ability to escape the pocket when under pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Kade is also a very electric playmaker in the running game, using his tremendous speed to run away from the defense for a big gain at any given moment. He led Collins is rushing last season, carrying the ball 105 times for 770 yards and 21 touchdowns. Goodin is committed to Ball State where I can see him being a productive player at the next level.

. Goodin had an impressive junior season, completing 164/276 passes for 2,357 yards, 22 touchdowns, and three interceptions in nine games. He has shown tremendous ball placement as a passer, putting his passes in a spot where only his intended receiver has a chance to catch it. While he is a strong passer, he is just as, if not more, dangerous as a runner. Goodin has shown the ability to use his explosive speed, whether it is on a designed quarterback run or he is escaping pressure, to run away from the defense to pick up a big gain at any given moment. He finished his junior year as his team’s leading rusher, carrying the ball 105 times for 770 yards and 21 touchdowns. Kade is committed to Ball State where I can see him having a lot of success at the college level.

. Goodin had another impressive year as a junior, completing 164/276 passes for 2,357 yards, 22 touchdowns, and only three interceptions in nine games. As a passer, Goodin has shown impressive accuracy along with the arm strength to stretch the field with ease. While he is a good passer, he is just as impressive as a ball carrier. Kade has shown the ability to use explosive speed and elusiveness in the open field to tuck the ball and pick up big gains on the ground at any given moment. As a junior, he led his team in rushing with 105 carries for 770 yards and 21 touchdowns. Kade currently holds offers from Bowling Green State, Marshall, Southern Mississippi, Bethune-Cookman, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as he heads into his senior year.

The Junior to be made the trip up to Bowling Green from the Blue Grass state and made the most of it. I first noticed Goodin in the drills portion. He has a smooth and easy throwing motion. In 1v1’s he showed the ability to drive the ball down the field. He also shows nice touch and throws a very catchable ball.
