Darrin is going to be an absolute treat to watch this season. He’s big, nasty, and very technically sound. He’s a well rounded lineman who is strong yet mobile. He has been really highly recruited by some MAC teams, and I think he’ll end up with a good handful of Big Ten offers as well. I like that he can get out and bulldoze a path through the 2nd level, pull, or anything else sometimes other linemen are too slow to accomplish. He’s a 4.1 GPA kid so there’s nothing to worry about with Strey at all. I think his stock is going to continue up and to the right for the foreseeable future.

N-Kye is one of the 2025s that I knew would be heavily recruited, but he took a major step in his junior campaign. That effort saw him paving the way to a state championship for Muskegon! Finding themselves down, Wynn performed the best when the lights were the brightest. He was burying his assignment play after play and creating huge gaps that were impossible to miss. I love his effort, I love his strength, and most of all, I absolutely love his nasty demeanor. He’s going to be a very popular prospect for a number of D1 schools.
Ace puts some really good stuff on film. Playing a pretty tough schedule, he is tested weekly and typically comes out as the victor. He has a strong, wide base with the mobility not usually found in the trenches. He can blaze a path through the 2nd level with ease, and on passing reps, he anchors his strong legs and doesn’t get moved. When they try to beat him with speed, he has the agility to stay in front and not get beat wide. Overall, Ace is rising up boards all across the state and he is starting to see the fruits of his labor after receiving a Ferris State offer recently.

Our Stock Up Showcase DL MVP was Danilo and it wasn’t particularly close. He tested extremely well, showing some explosiveness on the long jump and 40, while also impressing in 1 On 1 reps against some really good offensive linemen that will see college rosters. He is strong enough to knock a lot of offensive linemen back, but when that doesn’t work, he has a nice variety of pass rush moves at his disposal. He never seemed to get off balance or ahead of himself, he stayed strong, brought a punishing punch and quick step with every rep. At 6’5 and over 280, I would not be shocked to see him be an absolutely dominant player in his final high school season and maybe even attract some P5 offers.

Likely the most coveted guy on this list is Bobby Kanka Bobby Kanka 6’4″ | 255 lbs | DL Howell | 2025 State MI . Bobby is an incredibly strong and explosive defensive lineman. He is a pass rushing monster as he has about every tool in his belt to work with. He does a fantastic job of getting up underneath the offensive lineman and completely dislodging them from where they’re supposed to be. From there, he can shoot the gap inside, or beat them to the edge and get to the QB’s blind spot. He is a hard hitter in the run game as he does not get moved from his gap assignment, and does a great job of stepping in front of the ball carrier rather than attempting an arm tackle, which will serve him really well in the Big Ten where he is currently committed to play his college ball. Overall, this may be one of the most dominant guys in the trenches across the entire state, and it will be a blast to see what he has in store for us his senior year.
