We will end our rankings updates with a debuting of the Class of 2027 rankings around mid- March. As we work towards that I want to make sure we are spotlighting the athletes in that Class who are already making names for themselves on HS fields across the state. This is going to be our biggest collection of talent for any freshman rankings debut that we have done, so there is plenty of talent to dive into!

His ability to diagnose plays is already at a high level, and it allows him to make a lot of big time plays that you don't see from kids his age. To go along with the mental gifts is a physical play style and a solid base of athleticism to build on. Erik is a very sound tackler, has a high motor to chase and fight through blocks. He is smooth in his lateral movements, and is growing into the position at 5'10u0022 200 lbs.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65dfd3555eee4"} /-->

The freshman is just under 6'2u0022 265 lbs already, with plenty of growth still ahead of him. No question about Trenton's work ethic. The kid is always putting in work on his technique, and it showed in his freshman season on varsity. Wide and strong base, constant knee and ankle bend, light on his feet and doesn't overset in pass protection. The young OT trusts his feet, agility, and body control to get him where he needs to be. That prevents him from getting caught reaching for his opponents and losing his balance. Trenton seems to always be in a position of power and have the leverage advantage. As a run blocker Harris is able to flip a switch and become a violent mauler. He quickly overpowers opponents, drives them off the ball in the direction he determines, and finishes with power. This is one of the top kids in this Class, so far. A need to know name.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65dfd3555f000"} /-->

It didn't matter if it was on offense, defense, or special teams. He seems to toss opponents around on every highlight clip. Clearly the freshman has built a superior level of strength that has allowed him to dominate in the trenches vs his fellow freshmen on both sides of the ball. Brady's power also shows up in his lower body where he has shown an excellent first step off the snap while on defense. We see him fly through gaps and close on the ball very quickly. He also is a high motor player who makes a lot of plays thanks to surprising range. I'm excited to see how Brady continues to grow and find where his true position is.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65dfd3555f122"} /-->

It has worked as we saw the freshman get onto the varsity field. Jayce doesn't win the size matchup much, so he quickly learned to lean on that base of power and his quickness to win in the offensive trenches. He is a bulldozer as a puller. We see him bury opponents and remove them from holes to open up space for his backs. The freshman is light on his feet and able to turn that short area burst into power when he makes initial contact. As Jayce continues to grow, get stronger, and develop the technique of the position we could see him make big leaps year to year. An athlete to keep your eyes on.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65dfd3555f199"} /-->

Up next is freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1226891' first='Larenzz' last='Pratt'] who already found his way onto the varsity field. We see Larenzz primarily in the slot where he has shown to be too quick for safeties/LBs that teams try to put over him. We see him on a lot of quick routes where he can create separation with his route running and then use that quickness and agility to make the defense miss. The long speed is there too as we see him stretch the seam and be utilized on jet sweeps. Kenosha Bradford is finding ways to get him the ball quickly and in space, and Larenzz takes care of the rest. Get this kid on your radar early.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65dfd3555f24e"} /-->
