Throughout the month of February, Prep Redzone Oklahoma is updating our prospect rankings for each class. And for the state's 2027 class, we're debuting the first batch of rankings. Earlier today, we released the 2027 Top 25 and throughout the week, we'll be putting the spotlight on different players and position groups. In this post, we're putting that spotlight on the best quarterbacks in the state's 2027 class. Four signal callers were ranked in our initial 2027 ranking and we take a look at each QB. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more prospect breakdowns within the 2027 class. And check back each Monday this month for another class update!

But when Union's QB1 went down with a shoulder injury, that put the freshman in a rare position as QB1 for the Redhawks. Delgado did a really good job of doing what he was supposed to do and playing within the offense. You can tell that he has some special arm talents but Union didn't ask him to carry the offense. Delgado will have another year to be the backup before taking the lead of this Union offense. It was good to see what he could do against varsity competition in 2023 and we are fired up to watch him this spring on the 7v7 circuit.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["916843"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"We've known about Mangum freshman quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='916843' first='Remington' last='Laughlin'] for about a year now. There was a lot of hype surrounding Laughlin and after watching some tape of him from spring ball and into the summer, we were certainly bought in. Unfortunately, Laughlin went down with a season-ending injury early on in his freshman season and missed all of 2023. But he's getting closer to 100% and he came to our camp last week and showed why there was some hype around his name. Laughlin passes the eye test already and he has an absolute cannon attached to his shoulder. He's a physical presence that can absolutely sling the rock all over the field. We want to see him healthy this fall.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1035272"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Edison quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1035272' first='Braddox' last='Broughton'] had a solid freshman season for the Eagles and it was also one of frustration as he dealt with nagging injuries that forced him to miss time. Broughton was still productive and he's certainly a quarterback to watch moving forward and it will be interesting to see what kind of offseason he has. We just got a chance to see Broughton in person over the weekend at a 7v7 tournament. He has good size and can absolutely sling it. We're looking forward to seeing more of the Edison signal caller and then watching him take the field this fall with a clean bill of health. Out of the four quarterbacks on this breakdown, Broughton benefitted from the most varsity time.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["473873"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Mustang quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473873' first='Tyson' last='Pogi'] has a very similar story to Delgado at Union. We knew about the Mustang freshman prior to him entering high school and then an injury occurred to Mustang's QB1, coincidentally against Union. And Pogi would end up finishing the season at QB for Mustang. There were obvious growing pains but Mustang's coaches didn't put him out there with training wheels on either. And by the end of the season, Pogi was flourishing and putting up big numbers. Now, the Mustang freshman is an absolute star already on the basketball floor. Our Prep Hoops site has him as the top overall prospect in the state's 2027 class. He might be more of a hooper prospect now but that could change.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":4,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65c06b95aac36"} /-->
