In the rankings update for the class of 2025, there was a lot of movement in a very talent-rich class. With that being said, I wanted to take a look at some of the risers in the class that caught my attention after looking back at the rankings update. To kick things off, here are some of the notable risers in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky on the offensive side of the ball.
Blaze Berry Blaze Berry 6’2″ | 200 lbs | QB Eminence | 2025 State KY is a player that was already on my radar but truly had a breakout year this past season. Berry put up outstanding numbers as a passer during his junior year, completing 203/315 passes for 3,567 yards, 40 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 11 games. Blaze has a very strong arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game. He also has shown an impressive ability to escape pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to make tough throws on the run. Berry also finished the season with two rushing touchdowns. Blaze currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year as he has the talent to be a productive quarterback at the next level.

Braxton Jennings Braxton Jennings 6’0″ | 195 lbs | RB Ashland Blazer | 2025 State KY is a player that has been high on my radar for a while now but truly started to take things to another level this past season. Jennings had a strong junior year out of the backfield, carrying the ball 104 times for 807 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games. He has explosive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane and simply run away from the defense. Jennings has also shown the elusiveness and contact balance to make defenders miss in the open field. He is also very dangerous in the passing game, showing the ability to line up on the outside as a receiver and create matchup problems. Jennings finished this past season with 22 receptions for 536 yards and five touchdowns. He also returned one kickoff for a touchdown, threw one passing touchdown, and played a key role on defense, finishing the season with 51 tackles, two tackles for loss, and three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). Jennings currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky, Massachusetts, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, Toledo, and Bowling Green State, and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber running back prospect.

Another player that has been on my radar for a while now and took the next step this past season is Isaiah Johnson Isaiah Johnson 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Cooper | 2025 State KY . He played a huge role in Cooper’s run to 5A State Championship, catching 76 passes for 1,372 yards and 21 touchdowns in 15 games. Johnson is an impressive route runner, showing the ability to use his speed and quickness to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He is also very reliable in contested catch situations, using his athleticism to go up and catch passes at their highest point, and showing that he has the strong hands to come away with the ball through traffic. Johnson currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the Division I level.

Jeremiah Lynn Jeremiah Lynn 5’11” | 190 lbs | WR Trinity | 2025 State KY is a new addition in our 2025 rankings. He jumped onto my radar with a very impressive junior year. Lynn finished the season as his team’s leading receiver, catching 58 passes for 1,050 yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games. Jeremiah is a dangerous deep threat, showing the ability to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. He is also impressive after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big plays at any moment. Lynn also posed as a threat as a ball carrier, finishing the season with 29 carries for 220 yards. Jeremiah doesn’t currently hold any offers but he deserves some attention from college coaches as he definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
Highlights
Another new addition to our 2025 rankings is Cameron Bell Cameron Bell 6’3″ | 260 lbs | OL South Warren | 2025 State KY . Bell had a strong junior year at right tackle for South Warren. He is very impressive as a run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man down the field to create a running lane. Bell also does a great job of getting to the second level quickly and picking up blocks in open space. He has also proven to be reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge while keeping a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Cameron doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way going into his senior year as he has the talent to play at the next level.
My final “stock riser” that stood out to me on the offensive side of the ball for the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky is Gradey Anthony Gradey Anthony 6’5″ | 270 lbs | OL North Oldham | 2025 State KY . Gradey was very impressive at left tackle for the Mustangs this past season. Anthony is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man down the field and finish his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. He has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in open space as a lead blocker. Anthony is also very reliable in pass protection, using his quick footwork to get into his pass sets and mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Gradey recently committed to Louisville where I can see him developing into a key piece of their offensive line once he gets there.
