He secured a spot on the 1st Team All-MET squad, as featured in the Washington Post, and he earned an Offensive Player of the Year Award. Overton is currently a 3 star recruit, and he also possesses D1 offers from elite programs such as the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Oregon Ducks. He accounted for 39 total touchdowns, and he also threw for 1,900 yards. O'Shea led Battlefield to a 12-1 overall record and a district championship as a Sophomore, therefore it's safe to assume that his prospect ceiling is incredibly high in scouts' eyes. He accounted for more than 30 total touchdowns and 2,500 total yards in 2023, and he achieved All-District honors. Carmical was also selected to the Washington Post's ALL-MET team at the QB position, which must be recognized as one of the greatest honors a DMV area high school athlete can receive. Barido threw for more than 1,500 yards and about 15 TDs last season, so his numbers will most certainly improve with IMG this Fall. While he averaged more than 200 yards and a touchdown score each game, his LCA squad only finished the 2023 season with a 1-10 record.
