We had some outstanding talent all across the state and even some of the surrounding states. We’ve already had a ton of coverage from the event dropping on Prep Redzone Next! In this post, we’re putting the spotlight on the offensive side of the ball with quarterbacks and running backs. If you want a breakdown on the top offensive linemen, and it was a loaded group, CLICK HERE. The guys featured here were the best of the best on the offensive side of the ball on Sunday. Washington 2028 quarterback Creed Barrett Creed Barrett 5'10" | 150 lbs | QB Washington | 2028 OK , Lincoln Christian 2028 running back Corlan Wright and Newcastle 2028 wide receiver Graham White Graham White WR OK were covered earlier this week in our spotlight on the positional MVPs from the camp.
Making the trip up from Texas, 2028 running back Braun Johnson Braun Johnson LB TX was one of the more impressive running backs to watch on Sunday. When the camp began the drills and we could watch Johnson with the ball in his hands, you noticed what makes him so special. He’s a hard runner and we can only imagine the punishment he inflicts to defenders when the pads come on. Kansas City Chief running back Isiah Pacheco has gotten a lot of attention over the last two months for “running angry” as the Chiefs play for another Super Bowl. That’s the best way to describe Johnson’s running style. He’s punishing the ground every time he makes a step. Johnson really impressed on Sunday afternoon.

Our Prep Redzone Next camp was taking place right before our high school camp on Sunday afternoon. When Deer Creek 2028 quarterback J Dax Chancey J Dax Chancey 6’5″ | 190 lbs | QB OK showed up Sunday morning, I thought he was there for the high school camp. Chancey measured in at 6’4 and he towered over some of the other quarterbacks in the group. So first off, physically, Chancey checks just about every box already. Then it was time to see him throw the ball. And while we didn’t see every single throw made from every quarterback, it looked like Chancey had the strongest arm. And the thing that impressed about some of the throws he made was how effortless it looked. Deer Creek already has a future D1 QB but Chancey could be next up.

Plainview seems to have no shortage in versatile athletes. At the high school camp on Sunday, 2025 standout Shepherd Sisemore Shepherd Sisemore 6’3″ | 185 lbs | WR Plainview | 2025 State OK was one of the better campers and before that, Plainview 2028 running back Jett Frankum Jett Frankum ATH OK turned heads. Frankum appears to be the next one up for Plainview as they plan on contending for state as soon as this fall. Frankum was outstanding in the various drills and then when they got into one on one competition, Frankum got separation from his opponent and did a good job of making the catch at the high point. The young Plainview standout has a good build already and similar to Johnson, he runs hard with the ball in his hands. We’re looking forward to seeing him with the pads on.
Bartlesville 2028 quarterback Michael Kent Michael Kent 5’11” | QB Bartlesville | 2028 OK was right there with some of the better quarterbacks in attendance. During the camp’s “Best On Best” competition, Kent was one of the quarterbacks that got called up to throw in that one on one, high-pressure situation. Similar to Chancey, Kent has a very strong arm and he’s not as big as Chancey but he was right there with him in the arm strength department. Kent really impressed our coaches and when it came time to talk with them and see who was standing out, Kent was one of the first quarterbacks named. During the drills and competitions, Kent really excelled. Bartlesville could have a special signal caller coming their way this fall.
Sunday’s camp was the second time this month that we got a chance to see Hooker 2028 quarterback Tevin Cotter Tevin Cotter 5’11” | 165 lbs | QB OK and one thing we’ll say right from the start, he’s not afraid to put in the work. Cotter traveled down to Texas for our Prep Redzone Next camp earlier this month, in addition to another camp in the area. He would then come to Broken Arrow on Sunday to compete again. And for those unfamiliar with Oklahoma geography, Hooker isn’t exactly close to Broken Arrow. Cotter impressed us once again and he continues to get better and take what he’s being taught and adding it to his arsenal. Cotter was incredibly accurate with the ball on Sunday and showcased a variety of throws.
