Over 130 campers showed up last weekend at Atlanta Silverbacks Park for the PrepRedZone StockUp Showcase. They braved to 20 degree cold to display their talents in front of coaches and scouts from all over the Southeast Area. Below are my final takeaways from the event.

The name of the camp was "StockUp Showcase" and no one increased their stock more than rising North Cobb Christian WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1132857' first='Turner' last='Davis']. Davis excelled in all the metric categories placing 1st in the broad jump and the 40 and took the "DB MVP" award after the 1v1's. The 6'0 170 prospect will be a steal for someone this Fall.

The camp had a strong group of OL/DL that squared off. Already a highly touted recruit pre-camp, [player_tooltip player_id='682974' first='Julius' last='Dumas'] showed those in attendance why. At 6'3 318 he showed his agility and good technique and has picked up several post-camp offers including Texas AM, App. St. and Georgia State. A couple of rising Soph OL caught my eye. Savannah Christian's [player_tooltip player_id='637592' first='Jordan' last='Dillon'] had a good camp measuring at 6'3 317 and carries his weight well and has good footwork and agility at the line of scrimmage, top OL prospect going forward. Mt. Paran product [player_tooltip player_id='1158107' first='Carter' last='Levstek'] is a raw prospect but at 6'5.5 290 has the natural size that after a few years of hard work in the weight room will be on recruit boards.

We had a solid field of QB's there on Saturday but no one increased their stock more than Darlington rising Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1121980' first='Luke' last='Parker']. He displayed great touch on the long ball and has a cannon that can make that gets the ball out quick on the short routes. Parker is one of the top returning QBs in the NWGA area this Fall and comes from a great QB family. Already a Top 10 QB prospect, Parker will see his stock rise more this Fall.

Some of the other QBs that caught my attention: A couple rising Sophomore prospects that showed their potential. Benedictine QB [player_tooltip player_id='636958' first='AJ' last='Rahal'] showed why he is already the #2 ranked QB in the 2027 class by some services. He has good size at 6'0 190 and showed zip and was accurate on the long balls, mobile with good feet. Mt. De Sales QB Zavion DeShazier showed why he was one of the Top QB prospects in the 2027 class. He had over 2000 total yards last year as a Freshman and definitely passes the eye test at 5'11 197. Strong arm with a good football IQ. Woodland rising Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1146654' first='JD' last='Trail'] represented NWGA well showing good football and able to deliver accurate throws. A hard worker that will be one to watch in the Fall.

The RB field was loaded with some recruits I knew pre-camp and some that jumped on my radar to follow this Fall. Prince Ave's [player_tooltip player_id='416392' first='Andrew' last='Beard'] was a name I knew pre-camp and he showed why he is one of the top RB prospects in the 2027 class. 5'9 187 with great feet and "twitch" and plays physical, good hands out of the backfield.

A few of the new names that caught my eye: Washington Wilkes rising junior [player_tooltip player_id='1155045' first='Drevioun' last='Davis'] and Macon Co's rising soph [player_tooltip player_id='416590' first='Jakeyveon' last='Parker']. Both guys caught my eye by testing off the chart in the metric portion of the event and followed it up with strong 1v1 showings. Davis (5'8 157) has outstanding natural athletic ability and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Parker comes in as highly touted in the 2027 class but this is the 1st time I had a chance to see him live. Good size at 5'9 191 and is a physical North South runner with the quickness and agility to hit the corners. North Gwinnett's rising Senior [player_tooltip player_id='603176' first='Tommy' last='Lafayette'] was another guy that impressed. Lafayette is coming off a good performance at last months Ga Elite Showcase where he was a workhorse carrying an event high 13 times. Great size at 5'11 197 and tested out Top 10 in all the agility drills.
