Nicholas Rankin Nicholas Rankin 6'0" | 165 lbs South Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC – ATH, 6’0″ 165 (No. 1 ATH, 51 Overall), South Mecklenburg HS. Nicholas displayed good speed and ability to change directions quickly while defending receivers. He displayed good technique and use of arms, making it difficult to complete a pass against him as a defensive back. He displayed good technique on tackles made in the open field.
Marquis Bryant Marquis Bryant 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Rolesville | 2027 State NC – DB, 6’0″ 170 (No. 1 DB, No. 6 Overall), Rolesville HS. Marquis displayed speed and ability to change directions quickly while covering receivers. He displayed good technique and use of arms, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. He displayed good technique on tackles made in the open field. Marquis finished the season with 53 total tackles and 2 tackles for losses. He is already receiving interest from Power5 schools.
Brennan Drummond Brennan Drummond 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Providence Day | 2027 State NC – DB, 5’11” 165 (No. 2 DB, No. 17 Overall), Providence Day HS. Brennan displayed good speed and ability to change directions quickly while covering receivers. He displayed good technique and use of arms, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. He finished the season with 96 total tackles and 1 tackle for a loss.
Patrick Williams Jr. Patrick Williams Jr. 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Scotland | 2027 State NC – DL, 6’3″ 250 (No. 1 DL, No. 21 Overall), Scotland HS. Patrick displayed good technique and use of hands to control defenders while moving past them to make stops. He moved well in tight spaces to stop inside running plays. He will continue to develop his skillset and become a dominant force on the defensive line.
Griff Galloway Griff Galloway 6'3" | 225 lbs | DL Providence Day | 2027 State NC – DL, 6’3″ 225 (No. 2 DL, No. 22 Overall), Providence Day HS. Griff displayed good technique and good use of hands to control blockers while moving past them to make stops. He moved well in tight spaces to stop inside running plays. He finished the season with 60 total tackles and 9 tackles for losses. Griff will continue to develop his skillset and become a dominant force on the defensive line.
Michael Griffin Michael Griffin 5'10" | 205 lbs | LB Chambers | 2027 State NC – LB, 5’10” 200 (No. 1 LB, No. 7 Overall), Chambers HS. Michael displayed patience to let the play develop before reacting quickly to make stops. He displayed good lateral movement and speed to cover ground while closing in on the ball carrier. He finished the season with 68 total tackles and 8 tackles for losses. Michael has already received a Power5 offer, more are expected to come in during his high school career.
Quinton Cypher Quinton Cypher 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Millbrook | 2027 State NC – LB, 6’2″ 200 (No. 2 LB, No. 9 Overall), Millbrook HS. Quinton displayed patience to let the play develop before reacting quickly to make stops. He displayed good lateral movement and speed while covering ground to close in on the ball carrier. He finished the season with 155 total tackles and 8.5 tackles for losses. Quinton is already receiving interest from Power5 schools.
Nori White Nori White 6'6" | 320 lbs | OL Independence | 2027 State NC – OL, 6’6″ 320 (No. 1 OL, No. 8 Overall), Independence HS. Nori displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed quickness out of his stance and upper body strength to drive block defenders out of the play. He has already received a D1 offer, more are expected to come in during his high school career.
