With how many names are being floated out there as the next elite players in this class, there are a few that I think have slipped through the cracks. This article I’m going to bring you a few guys in the C/O 26 that are ready to burst onto the scene!
I think I’ve actually wrote about this player before, but it’s worth doing again now that we’ve reached the offseason. He has clearly put in the work to get better, and it is definitely showing. According to his twitter bio, he’s up to 6’6 230, so he has put on 10 more pounds and another inch since we last checked in. It seems that he has made the transition to defensive end and it looks like he is fitting comfortably! He does a nice job of staying home, not getting too far up field, and fighting through blocks to make sure tackles. All the physical tools are there so I am excited to see how he develops over the coming couple of years!
The buzz is starting to really get loud for Obi, so if you don’t know yet, take notice! He’s an athletic freak who posted some really crazy times at our Stock Up Showcase last month. He’s a baller on both sides of the ball, and his highlights display how versatile he is. He can catch, he can run, he can hit, he can make guys miss, and he can flat out take it to the house on any play! I think Obi will be someone that will jump out to a lot of people this upcoming season.

Colt Jolin
Colt really got on my radar the 2nd half of the season as I saw a few of his hudl clips and liked them a lot. He’s a bit of a do it all guy offensively as he can run between the tackles, run sweeps, make some catches and is a heck of a returner on special teams. He doesn’t go to a big premier school so he probably isn’t getting enough buzz yet, but keep an eye out for him this season as he may catch people by surprise.
I’ve mentioned Brayden before, but I think Brayden is someone worth continuing to push! At the JV level he was absolutely incredibly efficient, and just looked like he was on another level. He can make a lot of different throws that most high schoolers don’t, and can throw from the pocket or on the run. He doesn’t get happy feet in the pocket, but its not scared to pull it down and pick up the first down on the ground. Rockford has a habit of having really good QB play every year, and it is looking like they have another one here!
