Obi is another D1-ceiling prospect at West Bloomfield. At his best, he’s a deep threat that can truly take the top off of the defense. Against lesser defenses, Obi was also able to take screens for big yardage. There were a few moments where Obi showcased excellent contact balance- something I love to see from a “smaller” wide receiver.
Obi could be a riser in the next rankings update. D1 prospect for sure.

The buzz is starting to really get loud for Obi, so if you don’t know yet, take notice! He’s an athletic freak who posted some really crazy times at our Stock Up Showcase last month. He’s a baller on both sides of the ball, and his highlights display how versatile he is. He can catch, he can run, he can hit, he can make guys miss, and he can flat out take it to the house on any play! I think Obi will be someone that will jump out to a lot of people this upcoming season.

Duru posted the best testing times of any of the running backs in the group at the PRZ MI Stock Up Showcase, as the sophomore out of West Bloomfield ran a 4.72 40 yards dash, 4.55 short shuttle, and 7.2 L-Drill. The dynamic playmaker measured in at 5’7, 155 lbs. His speed also translated to individual drills, as Duru possesses impressive footwork and the ability to make defenders miss in the open field. His speed also made him difficult to cover in 1-on-1’s, as he can reach a second gear that opposing defensive backs and linebackers struggled to run with. This rising sophomore is only getting started and will be fun to watch over the next two years.
