More than 100 campers made their way to the beautiful Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia, WV on Sunday night and the talent was certainly not lacking. The quantity and quality were in attendance with some big-time talent on display at this great event. Here were some of the best receivers and linebackers at camp!

Receivers

Nicholas Allen - St. Thomas Aquinas (OH) '24 (Camp MVP)

The best receiver at the Winter Exposure Showcase had to be St. Thomas Aquinas (OH) senior Nicholas Allen. Allen seemingly came out of nowhere and dominated in the 1-on-1s portion of camp. He had everyone there fired up with each rep and was a dynamic athlete. Allen is on the smaller side listed as 5'9 160 and from looking at his Twitter I don't see any posted offers so he may be a hidden gem flying under the radar right now. He's very twitchy and has the speed to create separation, especially in single-man coverage. Allen played on an 0-10 D VII squad which likely explains why he's not receiving as much attention as he should but certainly offer worthy.

Isaiah Perry - Mt. Zion (MD) '24 (Camp MVP)

Another really impressive receiver at Sunday night's camp was 2024 Mt. Zion Prep (MD) wideout Isaiah Perry who had a big senior season in Maryland. He's another smaller receiver at 5'9 160 but he's fast and twitchy. Perry posted over 900 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns this season for Mt. Zion. Judging by his film and after seeing him in person at camp, his reported 4.36-40 has to be pretty accurate and Perry is a true burner. Perry is a mid-year December grad so if you're in need of a quick and twitchy slot receiver he's worth a call.

[player_tooltip player_id='370425' first='BJ' last='Williams'] - Clay County '24

I don't believe Clay County 2024 WR/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='370425' first='BJ' last='Williams'] won one of the Camp MVP awards but the senior playmaker was one of the best receivers at camp in my opinion. Williams is someone that we wrote about quite often this season during our weekly standouts series and he was named back-to-back WVSWA First Team All-State in Class AA just recently. 1-on-1s in camp settings are tailor-made for athletes like Williams and he was a nightmare to cover in single-man coverage. There's a theme here with my first three standouts from Sunday's camp and all three receivers are smaller but twitchy athletes which really benefits them at camps. Williams totaled over 1,000 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns this season for the Panthers and will be a steal for whoever gets him.

[player_tooltip player_id='907236' first='Ethan' last='Jackson'] - University '25 (Camp MVP)

[player_tooltip player_id='907236' first='Ethan' last='Jackson'] is coming off a huge junior season for the University Hawks and was named Second Team Class AAA All-State by both PRZ WV and the WVSWA. He carried that success to the Winter Exposure Showcase and earned one of the WR Camp MVP awards. Jackson is another receiver that we wrote about quite a few times this season for his play on the football field where he racked up over 1,000 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. He'll be one of the top receivers to come out of the WV 2025 class next year and a name to get on early for colleges.

[player_tooltip player_id='630208' first='Isaiah' last='Bush'] - Scott '25 (Camp MVP)

Scott 2025 WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='630208' first='Isaiah' last='Bush'] is one of the bigger stock risers in the 2025 skill class and is a quality player on both sides of the ball. He earned one of the WR Camp MVP awards at the Winter Exposure Showcase but I like his play just as much at defensive back too. Bush hauled in 39 passes for nearly 700 yards and 9 touchdowns this season for the Skyhawks and will return as one of the top skill players in WV next season for his senior season. The 5'11 170 junior is a real burner who can stretch the field but also work intermediate routes on outs, digs, and corners. With that high-level speed, Bush is also very good after the catch and can accelerate past defenders if they are a step behind. He's primed for a huge senior season in 2024 in Scott's prolific passing attack that brings back almost everyone.

Zion Trump - Virginia Academy (VA) '25 (Camp MVP)

Another WR Camp MVP award winner was 2025 Virginia Academy (VA) junior Zion Trump who's our first bigger receiver that stood out. Trump measures in at 6'2 175 and that long body and wingspan came into play big time at the Winter Exposure Showcase on Sunday night. The long trip paid off for him and two of his teammates with all three earning MVP honors. From watching his film from this season, Trump can go up and bring down tough contested catches but also has the speed to run away from defenders at times. It's still a little early for most 2025 prospects but Trump should receive some D1 interest in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='894977' first='Xavier' last='Anderson'] - Spring Mills '26

Another big receiver who has a very high ceiling is 2026 Spring Mills athlete [player_tooltip player_id='894977' first='Xavier' last='Anderson']. Anderson is the little brother of [player_tooltip player_id='865709' first='Max' last='Anderson'] who earned MVP honors as a quarterback and the brotherly duo were both big-time players this season for the Cardinals and at camp. The younger Anderson could play a number of positions in college depending on how his body develops the next two years but he was getting work in at receiver for this camp. At 6'6 190, he's nearly impossible to cover in 1-on-1s and gave defenders trouble all camp. I think Anderson is a very quality defensive lineman as well and if he can add a good bit more weight I think his ceiling there is very high as well.

Linebackers

[player_tooltip player_id='908114' first='Donovan' last='Williams'] - Bridgeport '25 (Camp MVP)

Bridgeport junior TE/LB [player_tooltip player_id='908114' first='Donovan' last='Williams'] had a very solid season for the Indians and earned one of the LB Camp MVP awards at camp. The 6'2 190 junior still needs to keep getting bigger but he flashed his athleticism in 1-on-1s covering some really good running backs in the slot. Williams is a fluid athlete which showed up in coverage during 1-on-1s and from watching his junior film he likes to attack as well. He's a good read and reactor and with his athleticism, he has the potential to be a complete outside linebacker in the future.

Tristan Lux - Virginia Academy (VA) '26 (Camp MVP)

Another impressive prospect from Virginia Academy (VA) was 2026 linebacker Tristan Lux who earned LB Camp MVP honors. I saw Lux during the summer at Wheeling University's FNL camp and he earned one of my standout picks there as well. As I said back in the summer, Lux is a physical specimen who is well ahead of 99% of other sophomores from a weight training standpoint. If you saw him you wouldn't believe that he's just a 2026 prospect but he is. What I liked the most about him was he's also a fluid athlete. Sometimes athletes who are really built physically can be very stiff and lack movement ability but I thought Lux was fluid during individual workouts. He also had some good reps in 1-on-1s which are even more challenging for linebackers. The 6'1 220 sophomore out of Virginia is someone you need to keep tabs on and follow for the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112752' first='Marcos' last='Kniska'] - University '26 (Camp MVP)

I've been eagerly waiting to check out University sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1112752' first='Marcos' last='Kniska'] and I was finally able to at Sunday's camp. He backed up what he showed this season on the football field with LB Camp MVP honors which had some talented sophomores in attendance. Kniska led the Hawks this season in tackles for loss and sacks which is really saying something given how many quality defenders they had on their team. At 6'0 and pushing 200 pounds, he is growing into his body early on which will really benefit him in the future. Kniska was more of an Edge/DE player this season for University and they let him get downhill on most plays. I didn't get to see him in coverage at the camp so I'm interested to see how he would do in that phase of the game but Kniska had a couple of pass coverage clips in his highlights. I think the future is bright for him if he stays on this progression arc and he could be a big-time player by the time he's a senior.

Brady Wasik - Lexington Catholic (KY) '26 (Camp MVP)

The second Wasik brother to earn MVP honors at the Winter Exposure Showcase was little brother Brady who was named as one of the LB Camp MVPs. His older brother Jackson was the best QB at camp and the younger Wasik appears to have a bright future as well. Wasik is a smaller linebacker right now at 5'11 185 but from watching his film he plays like he's 6'3 230. He's a downhill physical player who likes to shoot gaps and hit you. Wasik also showed on film that he's a sure tackler with the athleticism to get into the backfield in a hurry. The biggest thing for him will be to keep adding the mass his body needs to play the linebacker position as he has the other tools that you're looking for there.

[player_tooltip player_id='866533' first='Kevin' last='Stanisi'] - Linsly '24

[player_tooltip player_id='866533' first='Kevin' last='Stanisi'] out of Linsly was someone I was familiar with before camp and I really like his game. He's the true definition of a "football player" for the Cadets and the senior could play a number of positions in college. Stanisi was a quality running back, linebacker, and punter for Linsly this season and has shown the ability to drop into coverage at safety as well. He's a physically built kid at 6'0 205 and I think his best position at the next level will be linebacker. Stanisi is a prospect that D3 and D2 schools need to be looking at and an underrated player in the WV 2024 class.

Christian Harris - North Hills (PA) '27

A 2027 linebacker prospect that caught my eye was North Hills freshman Christian Harris out of Pennsylvania. It's very early for him in the recruiting process as a 2027 but I think he's one to watch for in PA. The 5'11 175 Harris was a varsity letter winner this season as a freshman for North Hills and doubles as a wrestler which you always like to see for positions like linebacker. I think there's a lot of raw ability there to mold and develop the next three years and Harris could end up being a very quality player in PA down the line.
