Offensive Standouts
(WR) Isaiah Cobbs Isaiah Cobbs 5'9" | 165 lbs | WR Munford | 2024 State TN – Munford (West)
– A dynamic pass catcher with excellent quickness, Cobbs puts those skills on display Friday night as the West Team’s top producer at receiver. Set with a future at Washington State, Cobbs displayed a mature game not just in the All-Star contest but throughout the week of practice as well where you could see he was the most dependable and trusted wideout for the West Team quarterbacks. It will be fun to see how this Munford receiver develops during his time in Pullman.
(QB) Baylor Hayes Baylor Hayes 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Brentwood | 2024 State TN – Brentwood (West)
– Hayes had to share snaps with two others at quarterback but when he was in the game, the Bruins signal caller was solid and the one guy who was able to consistently move the ball for the West Squad. Still uncommitted and looking for a home, Hayes continued his strong senior campaign in Clarksville by showing off that strong right arm along with his comfortability running an offense. His command is strong and I believe will make a strong component inside a college locker room over the coming years.
(RB) B.J. Blake B.J. Blake 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB Germantown | 2024 State TN – Germantown (West)
– Scoring the winning touchdown for the West Team, Blake also led the team in carries and rushing yards but also showed why he is a top 10 ranked running back for the #TN2024 class. The Red Devils senior ball carrier displayed excellent balance, burst and strength running through the East defense on Friday night. Blake is a tad undersized but he plays fearless, without hesitation and runs hard every time he touches the ball. He proved this season and Friday evening why he is a future D1 back with the Govs of Austin Peay.
(RB) Damon Sisa Damon Sisa 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Houston | 2024 State TN – Houston (West)
– Coming off winning a state title while earning MVP honors, Sisa continued his postseason tear in Clarksville where he produced a rushing touchdown on the night as well as several other dynamic runs. The East defense had a hard time gaining a grasp on Sisa, especially on his rushing score where he made just about every defender look silly. The Mustangs senior back still sits under the radar for some reason but whoever lands this Memphis area product will be getting a major steal.
(OL) Beau Smith Beau Smith 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Lipscomb Academy | 2024 State TN – Lipscomb Academy (West)
– Smith was one of the best O-line performers at the TNFCA All-Star game and one of the more consistent guys in the trenches throughout practice. The biggest thing that stood out the most about this Nashville area prospect was his ability to work through contact and drive his man back. Smith has to and will continue adding more size to his frame but his work in Clarksville showed me that Brown is getting an absolute steal!
(WR) Kamauri Turner Kamauri Turner 5'9" | 165 lbs | ATH Giles Co. | 2024 State TN – Giles Co. (East)
– The top receiver for the East squad was this Mid-Tennessee product that led his team in receptions and yards on the night while also being the go-to guy down the stretch. Turner was the most consistent wideout on the evening, running excellent routes while displaying strong hands. The Bobcats senior playmaker has been stellar this entire 2023 season and it continued in Clarksville where Turner made his presence known as one of the top under the radar prospects in our current #TN2024 class.
(OT) Hank Weber Hank Weber 6'4" | 255 lbs | DL Brentwood Academy | 2024 State TN – Brentwood Academy (East)
– It looks like Weber is making the full transition over to the offensive line as that appears to be his future at Wisconsin and based on his play at the TNFCA All-Star game, the Eagles senior big man is ready for the challenge. His bend, strength and ability to drive his man back to the 2nd level was impressive. Weber also has a good body to mold during his time with the Badgers and become a starter down the road in the Big Ten.
(WR) Dewayne Mosley – Southwind (West)
– Friday night was the 1st time for me seeing Mosley perform in person and he is every bit of 6 ‘2 and long with a frame that can take on more weight. There were a few moments where the Jags wideout could have hauled in a pass or two but he made up for it with two clutch receptions in the 2nd half that helped keep the West’s offense drives alive. Mosley has the physical traits to excel on the next level with continued work both in the weight room and the playing field.
(WR) Micah Threatt Micah Threatt 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Shelbyville Central | 2024 State TN – Shelbyville (East)
– Throughout the week of practice in Clarksville and into the game itself, Threatt was viewed and used as one of the East Team’s top receivers where that proved to be the case on Friday night. The Golden Eagles senior playmaker made several catches during the contest where he showed off his ability to break away from his defender then use his strong hands to secure the ball. Threatt is easily one of the more underrated prospects we have left from our senior class.
(RB) Tyson Wolcott Tyson Wolcott 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB Friendship Christian | 2024 TN – FCS
– The East Team MVP, Wolcott made good use of his limited carries by producing the lone offensive touchdown but it was his work as a punt returner that impressed me. The Commanders all-time leading rusher on several occasions was able to flip the field or gain enough positive yards to put his offense in good field position. Wolcott is tough to handle due to his size, quickness and speed into the open field and I think those traits can be used in a big way on the collegiate gridiron.
Three Others to Note: (QB) Silas Teat Silas Teat 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Marshall Co. | 2024 State TN – Marshall Co., (OL) Kison Shepard Kison Shepard 6'6" | 305 lbs | OL Germantown | 2024 State TN – Germantown, (WR) Henry Cason – Page
