Many players work their way onto radars during these events, but that is just one step in the recruiting process. Once a player earns their way onto the radar, coaches and scouts will want to watch that player’s highlight film to see what they look like in live settings. Even though we are close to two weeks removed from the Stock Up Showcase, the event provided scouts with a hefty list of players to continue to evaluate.
The quarterback group had a lot of talented prospects, including Austyn Modrzewski Austyn Modrzewski 6'5" | 205 lbs | QB Mountain Vista | 2025 State CO (2025) from Mountain Vista, who won the MVP for the position group. The pace of the showcase and the number of attendees made it easy to miss throws from a lot of the QBs, but in-season highlight film is still an undefeated recruiting tool.
This article will look at seven QBs whose performances at the Stock Up Showcase added to their stock value as potential prospects.
Stevens is a prospect with significant stock value as a recruit. He is an immediate standout because of his size and frame. He is a mobile QB with a strong arm who keeps his eyes downfield when scrambling, helping to make him an exceptional thrower on the run. His off-platform throws are quite impressive, and he does a great job of tailoring his throws to the situation, adding significant value to his stock. Duhachek is poised for a breakout junior season, making him a prospect to watch closely.

Stokes is a player whose development has been quite impressive over the past couple of years. He is a young QB with a strong knowledge of the game. He puts good velocity on his quick and intermediate passes and does an excellent job of throwing on the run. He has shown he possesses the characteristics of a reliable athlete who can manage the offense well, making his junior season worth anticipating.

Williams is a must-know freshman who is on pace to be one of the top prospects in the state before his high school days are over. He has great athleticism that will continue to improve as he progresses, adding to his arsenal of talents. His ability to read the field and know where to place the ball allows him to show off his impressive arm strength and accuracy, making him a dangerous passer so early in his career. Williams is a mobile QB who can hurt defenses with his arm and his legs, solidifying him as one of the more prominent prospects in his class.
