The most prolific passer of the 2023 season was Skifton out of Onalaska. Adam threw for all but 49 of the team’s passing yards, and 2 of the TDs. The senior bided his time before taking over as a junior. He put together a strong season, but blew away all those numbers while also leading his team to Level 3 of the playoffs. It’s not every year that the most productive passer is also one of the most naturally talented. Skifton does that.

Kasey has been at the helm for a couple years in MH/B, but this year was his most dominant. Kasey found the end zone often as a passer, quite a bit as a rusher, and even once as a receiver. He led his team deep into the playoffs, Kasey was the team’s second leading rusher, and carved up defenses through the air. He killed defenses any way they let him.

Drew was a highly efficient scorer in 2023. He took over the job for his lone season at the helm, and put up numbers that made him look like a multi-year veteran. On average, the senior threw a TD pass on one of every 4-5 passes. An insane rate to hold over an entire season. Big things are ahead for the UW- Eau Claire commit.

Karter is the most dominant player from Edgar that we have seen since Austin Dahlia won POY in 2021. Karter led his team to a State Championship, led his team in rushing yards, TDs, and tackles. The senior never left the field, and put up numbers that are not easy to replicate on just one side of the ball. Butt took over games on a weekly basis all the way through the State Finals. What an impressive showing by the school’s career and single season rushing record holder.
