The most prolific passer of the 2023 season was Skifton out of Onalaska. Adam threw for all but 49 of the team’s passing yards, and 2 of the TDs. The senior bided his time before taking over as a junior. He put together a strong season, but blew away all those numbers while also leading his team to Level 3 of the playoffs. It’s not every year that the most productive passer is also one of the most naturally talented. Skifton does that.

One of the most prolific passers from the 2022 season will be back on the field in Onalaska. In his first year at the helm, Adam led the high flying offense to a 12-1 record and one game away from a State appearance. Skifton went off for 2,584 yards passing, 29 TDs, and a 64.7% completion percentage. All at a 10 yards/att rate. Skifton shreds defenses with excellent ball placement to every level of the field. He is aggressive with his throws, but knows how to keep the ball out of harms way while doing it. He can put the ball on a dime from the pocket, scrambling, or off platform. He is going to be a riser when the new rankings debut. Get ready for a big senior season from the 2024.

I came into the camp with the Onalaska QB Adam Skifton Adam Skifton 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Onalaska | 2024 State WI highlighted as a player I wanted to get my eyes on. The 6’2″ 186 lbs ’24 is coming off the winningest season in school history in just his first season at the helm. I came away impressed with Adam. While not being the biggest kid at the position, Skifton is able to use his footwork, hips, and arm to create solid velocity on the ball. That velocity gave him the ability to attack the whole field during the camp. Skifton also checked off the accuracy box from what I saw. He picked his spots and hit his targets in stride; not easy when throwing to receivers you don’t know that are being covered. Things continue to look up for the ’24. He is going to climb the rankings and his recruitment will continue to increase.

Stats: 167/258, 2,584 Yards, 29 TDsrnAdam took over the QB position and helped lead Onalaska to one of their best seasons in school history. Skifton was Top 10 in yards and TDs last season, and is Top 5 in returning passers for both categories. All the production and big plays resulted in a 12-1 record that ended in Level 4 of the playoffs. The passing game led the way for Onalaska, and it will be fun to watch this season as they move on from their standout WR Nicky Odom. Skifton will be counted on to continue his success through the air. It was a great first year at QB for Adam.
