PRZ New England StockUp Showcase Notes/Eval, DL Top Performers
In this article:
Defensive Line
In terms of rank, Antwane Mills Antwane Mills 6’2″ | 280 lbs | OL Belmont Hill | 2026 State New E has CJ Talabi-Oates beat by a hair when it comes to the highest-ranking attendee in camp history. Thankfully, I got a chance to watch the two go at it live. Watching Talabi-Oates sharpen his game and spar against Mills was well worth the trip from Philly.
Defensive Line MVP. 6’2, 205, 2026 prospect who is in line to talk to important people in years to come.
Speaking on CJ’s performance at our event, I could make the case that no one prospect was as dominant as this young man, regardless of position. Mills and other OL prospects had their fair share of wins all night of course, yet there was no real answer for Talabi-Oates. I could make the case that OL were gassed a bit, due to low numbers. Could also be due to CTO’s unwavering motor. This kid brought the juice, was running/operating like a mad men all camp, first in line, first back from water. The alpha of the group, coaches working the positions thought alike. Attacks each rep with a purpose, fantastic hand usage when attacking kick-slides. One of the better get-offs present, was beating kids off the edge before OL could get their heads up. I applaud Thayer Academy’s coaching staff, they’ve got this young man fine-tuned. Great conditioning, seen ripping and swimming, utilizes his speed off the LOS to his advantage. Can dip his inside shoulder and leave OL striking the air. I’ll be tracking his off-season all the way through until training camp where he’ll put pads on for Thayer Academy as a junior.

One of my favorite prospects in New England period, regardless of any camp performance. A real 6’4, a real 240 pounds, not a young man who fibs on his measurables. 8’7 Broad Jump at 240 pounds is pretty impressive too, Long got a chance to showcase the spring In his hips a bit. Ton of DL locked inside the top 100, with Cooper Long Cooper Long 6’5″ | 250 lbs | DL Salisbury | 2026 New E on the cusp of a top 150 placing this coming update. His performance in this one solidified that notion.
A Division One grade out of me, Cooper Long Cooper Long 6’5″ | 250 lbs | DL Salisbury | 2026 New E boasts a 4.0 GPA, can play TE too. Talabi_oates came with the juice and motor, Cooper Long Cooper Long 6’5″ | 250 lbs | DL Salisbury | 2026 New E came with the prototypical build that intrigues college coaches upon laying eyes on the kid. OLB/DE capable, skillset supports both styles/alignments. Can also provide Durfee with quality reps at TE if need be. Pretty much every coach present raised their eyebrows at Cooper Long Cooper Long 6’5″ | 250 lbs | DL Salisbury | 2026 New E , again, a young man flaunting the physical attributes that are coveted at the next level. Isn’t going to flash energizer bunny-like get-off like CTO and other slimmer builds at our camp, yet can combo good speed with good power and blend the two accordingly.
Is a lock for Top 150 among 2025 peers, is a lock for Top 100 if he decides to reclass to 2026.

Awesome showing from a freshman battling against junior offensive lineman. It slipped my mind that this young man was a member of the class of 2027, only realized as much after getting back home and researching a bit further. Lyons might’ve been overshadowed by some big names like Long and Talabi-Oates, yet I valued his astuteness when paying attention to the coaches present. I value the young man’s motor to keep pressing the OL all throughout the camp. I hope he learned a lot in terms of how these camps go so that he can better anticipate what to expect.
5’11, 200 pounds, tested accordingly. Has experience playing center, likely an IOL-capable prospect for North Quincy in the future. Had some reps to remember in this one. Will likely place on our debut 2027 rankings releasing sometime in February.

Challenged Talabi-Oates for DL MVP according to coaches running the Indi drills for the position. Hardly surprised. Saint John Paul II’s Oscar Johnson Oscar Johnson 6’2″ | 215 lbs | DL Saint John Paul II | 2026 New E brought the same juice and energy that the MVP brought, just a matter of reps won and college coach preference as to why Johnson didn’t take home the award. Point was made however, this is a young man who is going to place well on our ranks.
6’2, 199. Talented pitcher and outfielder, coaches at the next level will love his multi-sport capabilities. Excited to turn on his tape, want to see if I like him at TE more than DL. Will be tough considering I like what I saw live with Johnson working as an edge rusher against solid OL competition. In terms of projecting his abilities to the next level, I’m intrigued as to how his body continues to develop. Will he put on some weight, retain speed off the edge while developing some pass-rushing tech? Will he stay slim, possibly play OLB at his current build? I’ll learn more about his prowess on the offensive side of the ball once I plug in his sophomore tape, we could have a great TE prospect on our hands too. Love that this kid has options, fun player to keep my eye on.

Intrigued by this young man’s size. A walk-up at our camp, would have loved to see him perform on the offensive side of the ball but fully understand that he’s more of a nose guard/ 3-tech opposite offensive linemen.
6’4, 290, came to the camp from Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Hudl has unverified measurables showcasing a 14.5 100M dash, as well as some impressive numbers in weight room categories. No Twitter to be found, also no seasonal tape on Hudl which is a shame. Looked a bit raw from what I can tell, but there’s something about 300+ pounds NG/DTs, you can ask them to stop thinking and go plug running lanes and be satisfied by the time clock strikes triple-zeroes. A current junior, would love to learn more about the kid, possibly get a hold of some game film, possibly get him ranked among his junior New England peers down the line. Thankful that he came to the camp, I now know of his name, as well as some of his teammates.
