I have seen Cooper at a few events this summer. He has all the tools: length, strength, and a mix of moves that can blow past most blockers. He is tough and has a quick first step and violent hands. He should be getting his share of NCAA attention any minute now..

The Show by Nextgen – Boston Showcase, March 2024

Cooper had an excellent showcase. He came in with his game face on; and from the measurables, to the drills, to the competition, he did not disappoint. He showed great feet and hips on the ladder and the hoop, and then his fast hands and focused eyes on the bag drills. When competition started, cooper began to really show out. Using a variety of moves, he demonstrated his violent hands and fast feet blowing past blockers and winning rep after rep. He quickly stood out to the coaches and was a quick lock for an invite to The Show – No surprise to this coach. Cooper is a certified baller and continues to show why he is one of the best in New England

Formerly a 2025 out of Durfee HS in Fall River, MA. One of my favorite prospects, one I’m willing to send to coaches, one that I think is worthy of early offers. This is even more the case now that he has reclassed to 2026. Now at Salisbury School, the 6’5 EDGE/TE prospect has an additional year to both develop and help his personal stock rise amongst collegiate boards. I’d make the case that Cooper Long Cooper Long 6'5" | 285 lbs | DL/TE Salisbury School | 2026 State New E is the crown jewel of the crop of new additions headed to Salisbury, Connecticut. Expanding on Long’s pass-rushing repertoire is likely a must. Long’s a servicable tight end option of course, but his potential ceiling as a 3-4 DE or 4-3 EDGE is too high to not pursue each of the next two offseasons. Personally like him as a top 20-25 DL among 2025s, likely top 15 among 2026s.

One of my favorite prospects in New England period, regardless of any camp performance. A real 6’4, a real 240 pounds, not a young man who fibs on his measurables. 8’7 Broad Jump at 240 pounds is pretty impressive too, Long got a chance to showcase the spring In his hips a bit. Ton of DL locked inside the top 100, with Cooper Long Cooper Long 6'5" | 285 lbs | DL/TE Salisbury School | 2026 State New E on the cusp of a top 150 placing this coming update. His performance in this one solidified that notion.

A Division One grade out of me, Cooper Long Cooper Long 6'5" | 285 lbs | DL/TE Salisbury School | 2026 State New E boasts a 4.0 GPA, can play TE too. Talabi_oates came with the juice and motor, Cooper Long Cooper Long 6'5" | 285 lbs | DL/TE Salisbury School | 2026 State New E came with the prototypical build that intrigues college coaches upon laying eyes on the kid. OLB/DE capable, skillset supports both styles/alignments. Can also provide Durfee with quality reps at TE if need be. Pretty much every coach present raised their eyebrows at Cooper Long Cooper Long 6'5" | 285 lbs | DL/TE Salisbury School | 2026 State New E , again, a young man flaunting the physical attributes that are coveted at the next level. Isn’t going to flash energizer bunny-like get-off like CTO and other slimmer builds at our camp, yet can combo good speed with good power and blend the two accordingly.
