is a name that I came across while strolling on social media. He posted a film of himself squatting 365 for 4 as an 185Lb Freshman Running Back!!! 2x his body weight!! His film displays good leanness and a low center of gravity when running the ball. He has good balance and is a tough and fast runner with the ability to break multiple tackles and most second-level defenders. He has the quickness to elude defenders and run downhill quickly.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Yearwood” was graded out as a potential Div 1 FCS prospect. He is the early selection for the overall #7 prospect in the class of 2027 and the #2 Running Back in New England in the class of 2027.

Formerly out a 2026 out of Cromwell HS in Cromwell, CT, now a 2027 ready to play ball for Salisbury School. Has three freshman tapes on Hudl, which is bound to confuse any coaches who might be showing early interest, I chose to watch his most recent freshman tape that was posted earlier in the week. Take this evaluation with a grain of salt, as I don’t believe Yearwood played ball last Fall outside of the first three weeks of the season. Tough running style with a lot of forward momentum behind his pads. This style, along with a good center of gravity, makes him an obvious choice for handoffs inside of the 20-yard line. Has some impressive reps working in zone coverage at linebacker, Salisbury is sure to explore his prowess away from back, either safety or OLB. Toughness again sticks out when watching him work at either position. Now a 2027, I’m intrigued as to what his ceiling could be developing under this coaching staff. Can he progress and turn into an all-around back? Can Yearwood be seen as a prominent two-way back/backer? Love some of the testing numbers displayed, especially some of his grade and academic numbers too.
