Grant Washington is a three down back that got stronger as his junior season went on to put together an impressive campaign. Washington is strong in each phase of his game which makes him a dangerous player with the ball in his hands and space in front of him. Has a good combination of vision and balance to hit his holes hard and weave through traffic with ease. Is a downhill back that reaches top speed and is hard to catch. Takes contact well with the footwork to keep moving. Takes appropriate angles to attack openings in the defense to work upfield. Showed off a number of clutch runs when his team leaned on him most showing maturity and experience rarely seen in juniors. A big contributor in the passing game, Washington works towards open space on routes and allows his offense to keep moving when receivers are covered downfield. Performs quick cuts in small spaces with good burst to hit the second level in a hurry. Washington’s recruiting process is heating up this offseason and rightfully so. He recently picked up an offer from Toledo and already holds an offer to Yale.

Highlights
Antuan Gardner Antuan Gardner 6’0″ | 205 lbs | RB Niles McKinley | 2024 State OH is a name more college coaches need to be talking about and offering. After finishing a storied high school career where he left a lasting impression on his program and area, Gardner holds one Division I offer to Maine. An explosive player that can be the motor for his offense, Gardner is everything you want in a college running back. His vision and speed is elite as a gifted athlete who is a natural runner. His stride is compact and explosive to turn plays that other backs might get chunk yardage out of into scoring plays. He is a slippery back that can find his way through traffic and tacklers to get up field. Is able to break tackles in a number of ways including his elusiveness, but shows great strength to overpower defenders to keep moving. Good footwork to maintain balance. Is as big of a scoring threat beyond midfield as he is in the red zone. Adjusts well on the run to change direction with his speed. Gardner is a Division I back with more than enough abilities to make an impact in his college career. Earning high honors as All-Ohio first team in Division IV, his career more than speaks for his game with accomplishments across each year of his high school tenure.

Boston Mulinix Boston Mulinix 5’7″ | 195 lbs | RB West Branch | 2025 OH earned All-Ohio 2nd team in his junior season on the back of a near 1,200 yard season as a back that puts everything he has into each carry. Mulinix is a coach’s best friend as a reliable back with the power and speed to make an impact when his number is called. He uses his compact size to his advantage to perform elusive cuts or slip through arm tackles. Doesn’t just rely on his speed, but has the power to barrel over defenders if they are in his way. Carries a lot of power in his lower body which is not only useful for his explosive burst, but driving forward after contact as well. Is a prominent runner with speed when moving to the edge. Has the top end speed to finish long runs with good endurance. Is a player that doesn’t need much daylight to turn an average gain into a big one. Puts in the work off the field in the weightroom and gets his power in the gym to translate on the field. Mulinix is a fun back to watch on his highlight reel with explosive plays and plays that just make you say ‘wow’. After the season Mulinix just had, coaches need to recognize his game as a running back that will have a big impact on their program.

Cole Fulton
Cole Fulton
Cole Fulton is an offensive weapon that can perform at a high level out of the backfield or lined up as a receiver with the size and speed to be a game changer. At 6-foot-1 and 205-pounds, Fulton has the size you want in a Division I college player with a handful of offers to his name. He looks the part of a big time football player, but more importantly he plays the part for his team. Fulton is a no-nonsense back that hits the hole hard and is a difficult target to bring down. He shows a good understanding of the blocking scheme in front of him to attack openings. Carriers with good speed when running at angles, can turn upfield quickly. Has the speed to win footraces to the edge. Easily slips arm tackles with good strength in his core and lower body. Comes in as a receiver in situations with his speed as an asset to his quarterback to get the ball downfield. A contributor on defense as well as a middle linebacker, plays as hard as he does on offense and hits as hard as he runs. Fulton has had a positive recruitment with offers from Colgate, Davidson and Saint Francis, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see more DI offers come his way.
