Brandon White Brandon White 5’8″ | 185 lbs | RB St. Edwards | 2026 State OH was on full display over his team’s state championship run behind a dominating line that put his abilities on full display. White became a household name thanks to an elite performance with 243 yards and three scores to help St. Edward to its third straight Division I state title. The sophomore was the main catalyst for his offense taking openings his line gave him and turned them into chunk play after chunk play. His vision was next level to find openings in the second level that turned 3-5 yard gains into first down yardage and more. He showed durability throughout the postseason as well as the title game where he carried the ball 32 times. White possesses lethal footwork to perform quick cuts to lose defenders while getting his feet working upfield. Because of his quick feet, he takes contact well by resetting his feet to maintain balance to keep moving. He has the speed to finish long runs with good burst when hitting the edge. Is a regular factor in the passing game with good hands to be a threat anywhere on the field. White’s postseason performance will have him on the radar of college coaches across the country and an early watchlist player for Mr. Ohio consideration.

Highlights
Caleb Jones Caleb Jones 5’9″ | 185 lbs | RB Archbishop Hoban | 2024 State OH ‘ one-cut style of running was more than most teams could handle throughout most of last season. Jones has an explosive style of running to reach the second level in a hurry to force defenses to respect his abilities. He hits the hole while accelerating to make it difficult for linebackers to square up and stop him as a runner. His acceleration is his best asset to pair with top end speed with a full frame that makes him difficult to stop or even slow down. Has solid upper body strength to initiate contact and keep moving. Makes linebackers pay that meet him in the hole with equally strong contact. Is a runner that is hard to knock backwards with a high success rate of falling forward for extra yardage. Plays well between the tackles with his burst. Has the agility to make secondary players miss tackles. Jones plays well on both sides of the ball as a defensive back that plays well up against the line. He currently holds offers to Kent State and Toledo he picked up before the season, Jones is a player that should see more offers coming his way after competing against some of the best players in the state and performing at a high level.

Will Beers
Will Beers
You couldn’t watch the Division VI title game without seeing Will Beers all over the field. The agile Beers ended his high school career with a number of electrifying plays that helped his team to another state title. Beers is a weapon whenever the ball gets into his hands not only out of the backfield, but on special teams as well. A well-rounded player with above average agility, speed and quickness made him an explosive player throughout his career. He carries good instincts with the ball that just can’t be taught. Has exceptional balance to perform quick turns and cuts to lose defenders leaning. Plays low to explode out of cuts with speed. Elite vision with the ball with the abilities to make something out of nothing. Does all the little things asked of him, is a very hard blocker for his teammates, has a good set of hands to line up in the slot as well, contributes on defense. His abilities on defense alone should have coaches interested in his abilities while most of his best work is on offense. Beers is a football player through and through, his recruitment is still open with some MAC interet. He needs to be a player more coaches take a look at for his highlight reel alone.

Caleb Hewitt
Caleb Hewitt
On an offense with numerous playmakers, Caleb Hewitt stood out with his ability to hit the edge, turn up field and burn defense. Hewitt helped his team reach the state semifinals with a score against one of the best defenses in the state. His speed and ability to change direction at top speed made him a dangerous runner in limited space. Most dangerous around the edge, has good timing in motion getting snaps and reacting to openings. Is a factor in the passing game with speed to hit the top of his route while gaining separation. Keeps his hips squared when running to change direction with fluidity to keep speed. Is slippery when defenders try to bring him down, uses quickness to sneak out of arm tackles. Has good athleticism to be a factor on defense as a cornerback, relies on his speed to keep pace with receivers to keep pressure on passes. With another season to go, Hewitt brings back a lot of speed to an offense that reloads every year. Hewitt is a player that will be able to do a lot of damage with even more carriers as a senior.
