Continue ReadingHuddle is a no brainer FCS+ caliber kid with great size and downfield speed with strong hands. He is a terrific route runner that can stretch the field and settle underneath, while tough to tackle in the open field due to his size, deceptive speed and physical running style. The Rams had a stellar season, taking home the SJS D5 title and competing for a Norcal title and losing a tough one to a speedy Soquel squad. Huddle had another strong showing when it mattered most, hauling in 6 catches for over 120 yards and was a big time presence on the outside and downfield for the Rams. He is going to be one of the top returning players across the region next Fall, and should pickup college interest and recruiting stock this off-season.

Whitten is one of the best two-way players in the region, and has tons of varsity playing experience over the years for the Bulldogs. He is one of the main leaders on this Folsom defense, and flies around with violent intentions from the back end, and is a excellent tackler in open space while exploding through contact and bringing a nice thump, especially for his size. He is truly explosive when breaking to the ball, can close quickly in the open field and redirect without giving up ground with natural ball skills/disciplined eyes in zone coverage. He projects as a safety at the next level, and held five offers before shutting down his recruitment and committing to BYU back in October. He is a very nice addition for the Cougars, and should be able to provide immediate special teams support at that level.

It is no secret that the 2025 prospect is one of the top pass rushers across the state, and should find his home as a designated pass rush guy at the next level from a stand up position. He has a relentless motor off the edge, elite twitch and feet while able to rush the passer from various angles, dip under blockers and is a natural hip flipper at the top of his rush while knowing when to counter back inside. Jeremiah is a high motor player that can make plays from the backside, quickly reads blocks and shows impressive closing speed when collapsing the pocket while having multiple pass rush moves at his disposal. Against Rocklin, he was a mismatch nightmare going against some of the best offensive lineman the region has to offer, and was active all night. He will be a key piece this week against La Serna in the state title game.
