I was fortunate enough to get to see Connor play a few times this season. Every time I saw him, his poise and decision making really stood out. He showed time after time he could stand in the pocket, deliver quick and accurate throws, and he showed the arm strength to get it there. Mobility wise he is definitely good at moving in the pocket, and escaping to pick up first downs when the opportunity presents itself. He isn’t a run first QB, but he can really hurt you with his feet if you don’t account for him. Eastern Illinois should be pretty pumped about getting him, I think he will thrive!

Wyatt was excellent every time I saw him. I got to see him a few times and every time, I noticed something about his game I hadn’t before, but really liked. Wyatt definitely has a big arm and specializes in the deep ball, and he was really fun to watch as he would drop the ball in the bucket from 30+ yards out regularly. I think as he continues to hone his craft on short and intermediate throws, and continues to work on going through progressions, he is going to flourish. College coaching will really set him up for even more success, and I am excited to see where he takes it!

New Alma commit Jacob Tuttle Jacob Tuttle 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB Notre Dame Prep | 2024 State MI was a really impressive dual threat guy this season, and I was really pleased to see how deadly he was at both in person finally. Against a stout Corunna defense, Tuttle was able to be incredibly accurate under pressure and fit balls in some tight windows. His arm strength stood out as he hit crossers with hard tight spirals in stride, and he was able to stretch the field vertically with long bombs dropped in a bucket. Alma is getting a really impressive QB that is just scratching the surface of his potential.

Jackson put up a couple really impressive performances when I got to see him. He’s a solid dual threat guy, but he really thrives being able to sling the deep ball, though his short and intermediate accuracy grades out pretty good as well. He has great vision, feels pressure better than most, and has the ability to throw from different arm slots to still get the ball to his receivers. His footwork is really good in the pocket, but I would like to see him do a little more stepping up in the pocket than escaping outside, but I think that will just get better with comfort.

This was probably the easiest selection of all. His lights out performance in the state title game was an all timer to pull off the win as the public “underdog” although I don’t think they thought of themselves that way. Marshall was hitting every throw he needed to with accuracy, was able to stand in the pocket and deal, and he was incredible at extending plays and evading pressure. He was able to manipulate defenders with his eyes at a way higher level than you typically see at the high school level, and felt pressure but never quit looking downfield. Kansas is getting themselves an elite athlete that will definitely be a star at the next level.
