Per MaxPreps, he is the leading Sophomore rusher across the state and has racked up over 700 rushing yards, 6 touchdowns, and just over 10 yards per carry. He is a slippery ball carrier that shows wiggle and short area quickness in the hole, while also able to keep his legs driving and run through contact from linebackers and DB's. Carson is also a natural pass catcher that can get out into the flats and turn upfield quickly while also not afraid to gain the tough yards inside the tackles. He tallied well over 700 yards and 6 touchdowns while rumbling for just over 7 yards per carry. He is a tough to tackle north and south runner that looks for contact in the hole, keeps his legs driving through the first and second level and has some deceptive open field speed in the clear while tough to tackle in one on one situations. He is also light on his feet for his size, shows good vision in tight windows with cutback abilities, and stays patient in-between the tackles before hitting the crease. He is a zone runner that can get vertical quickly, cut against the flow with cutback abilities and shows good contact balance and physicality running the ball, especially for his size. He has a nice first level burst and can make defenders miss in the hole, while also showing some third level speed in the clear with lateral quickness. He was one of the top sophomore rushing leaders in the state per MaxPreps, and helped Eagle to an impressive 10-1 record.
