St. Frances Academy Prospect Report: Part I

On my East Coast road trip, I made it a point to stop at St. Frances Academy, one of the premier football programs in the country. The Panther's roster is loaded with division-one talent in just about every class. This is a team that battled through a gauntlet of a national schedule and finished with a 5-6 record this fall. Look for them to be right back in the national title hunt next fall.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   [player_tooltip player_id='735074' first='Maddox' last='Fackel'] 6'5” 250 is a terrific tight end/defensive end prospect. Violent with quick hands, exceptional closing, speed, balance, and a great frame. Should be a national recruit. 3.5 GPA. Class of 2027.   Javarr Stewart 5‘10“ 165 is an up-and-coming cornerback. Great technique, 4.5 speed, and shows loose hips. Natural cover corner who can also play safety. 3.7 GPA. Class of 2025.   Jamie White 5'10” 176 is a free safety that is very physical and also excels playing against great competition. Very confident with good range and is a sure tackler in space. 3.4 GPA. Class of 2027.   [player_tooltip player_id='734800' first='Vegas' last='Brown'] 5‘9“ 150 is a lights-out wide receiver with balance, speed, moves, leaping ability, and runs precise routes. Improves with every game. Consistently grabs the ball over taller defenders. Love his footwork and confidence. 3.5 GPA. Class of 2027.   Wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='423046' first='James' last='Branch'] is the real deal. At 6'3" 190, I love his length, strong hands, ability to get open, and separation speed after the catch. Shows good football speed and a great attitude. Once he hits the weights look out as he has all the tools needed to become an All-American. 3.7 GPA. Class of 2027   [player_tooltip player_id='372595' first='Elijah' last='Pedro'] 6',1" 175 is a wide receiver with several big-time offers. Catches everything within his frame and is dynamic at the top of the route. A national recruit and a go-to receiver with big play capabilities. 4.0 GPA. Class of 2025.   [player_tooltip player_id='771522' first='Jermichael' last='Gillis'] 6'1" 175 is one of the top athletes in Baltimore. Shows All-American skills at both the wide receiver and free safety positions. Ballhawk with exceptional instincts and a terrific work ethic. Runs a 4.4 and has a 38-inch vertical. 3.7 GPA. Class of 2025.   [player_tooltip player_id='872803' first='Jeremiah' last='Koger'] 6'4" 185 is another supremely, talented, wide receiver. Runs a 4.57, and is a tall target with good leaping ability. Shows sure hands, runs an 11.3 100 m, and also stars in basketball. Averages over 16 yards per catch and is as reliable as they come. 3.6 GPA. of 2025.   [player_tooltip player_id='402030' first='Wayne' last='Henry'] 5'10" 170 is a defensive back who does a great job covering big-time receivers in both practice and in-game situations. Quick to transition, with loose hips, long arms, and very quick hands & feet. Dynamic cover corner with confidence. 3.6 GPA. Class of 2026.   [player_tooltip player_id='1348723' first='Alexander' last='Taylor'] 6'3" 235 is an edge rusher that has impressed with his size and burst. Extremely athletic with a 42-inch vertical, quick hands, and excellent footwork. Seems to be the type of ball player who could explode at the next level. Tough to block with great agility and balance. Class of 2027.   [player_tooltip player_id='374353' first='Cordell' last='Jefferson'] 6'2” 181 free safety is a good tackler with excellent range and is known for his hard hits. He's got excellent work habits, is a team leader with a great attitude. Excels in space and can dominate tight ends in coverage. 3.4 GPA. Class of 2025.
