The early signing day is approaching quickly and prospects across the country are preparing to sign National Letters of Intent. We are going to highlight some prospects that have had a busy week from a recruiting perspective. Let's start our week off with some recruiting news from around the state of Texas.   [player_tooltip player_id='432346' first='Luke' last='Carney']-Quarterback-Dallas Christian School-2025   [player_tooltip player_id='432346' first='Luke' last='Carney'] is an accurate quarterback that does a great job of fitting the ball into his wide receivers. The Dallas Christian quarterback is a player that can hurt opposing defenses with his arm as well as his legs. Carney knows when to escape the pocket and will keep his eyes down the field before using his legs to extend the drive. Last week, the talented signal caller earned a scholarship offer from the Arkansas Razorbacks. Carney is a prospect to keep an eye on over the next few months.   [player_tooltip player_id='212427' first='Day'jon' last='Moore']-Wide Receiver-Willis-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='212427' first='Day'jon' last='Moore'] is a wide receiver that can make plays all over the field. He does a great job of using his athletic ability to create separation from opposing defenders. Moore's speed and ability to make plays in the open field give opposing secondaries plenty of problems. The talented Willis wide receiver had the opportunity to visit the Texas Tech Red Raiders over the weekend. Moore is a wide receiver to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.   [player_tooltip player_id='996634' first='Deonte' last='Dean']-Running Back-Lake Highlands-2024   The Lake Highlands running back is a difficult player to bring down. [player_tooltip player_id='996634' first='Deonte' last='Dean'] can make people miss and will not be brought down on initial contact. Dean does an impressive job of carrying the ball between the tackles. He has the ability and quickness to cut the run down the sideline. Last week, Dean earned a scholarship offer from Washburn University. He is a running back to keep an eye on at the next level.   [player_tooltip player_id='1014317' first='Antayvious' last='Ellis']-Wide Receiver-Crowley-2027   [player_tooltip player_id='1014317' first='Antayvious' last='Ellis'] is a wide receiver that uses his mix of speed and route running to create separation from opposing defenders. Once he hauls in the ball, the chances are good that he is going to make a big play. Ellis is not afraid to go across the middle of the field with his route running. He is the type of a player that the defense must account for on the field, or he will hurt you early and often. Last week, Ellis earned a scholarship offer from UNLV. He is a 2027 prospect to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.   Khristan Turner-Athlete-Melissa-2024   Khristan Turner is a prospect that has the versatility to play all over the football field at the next level. On the defensive side of the ball, he has speed and the ability to cause plenty of problems for opposing wide receivers. Turner does a great job of playing the ball while it is in the air. He can separate the ball from the ball carrier with little difficulty. Turner earned a scholarship offer from West Texas A&M University. He is a player to watch out for at the next level.
