David Parsons David Parsons 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Parkersburg | 2024 State WV – Parkersburg ’24 QB
Parkersburg senior quarterback David Parsons David Parsons 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Parkersburg | 2024 State WV capped off his high school career with a valiant performance against Princeton in a heartbreaking 41-37 loss. Parsons completed 13 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. He added 61 rushing yards on 10 carries and finished his incredible senior season with 2,700 passing yards and 33 touchdowns.
Casey Stanley Casey Stanley 6'2" | 175 lbs | K Parkersburg | 2024 State WV – Parkersburg ’24 WR/LB/K
Fellow Parkersburg Big Red senior Casey Stanley Casey Stanley 6'2" | 175 lbs | K Parkersburg | 2024 State WV is a jack of all trades for his team and showed why in their quarterfinal loss to Princeton. Stanley is an all-around good athlete and makes an impact in all three phases of the game. He caught 3 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. Stanley also made 5 tackles on defense including one for a loss. His best trait is his kicking abilities and he had three kickoff touchbacks on seven attempts while also averaging 47.3 yards per punt with two being downed inside the 20. Stanley also made 4/5 PATS and kicked a 26-yard field goal scoring 13 of his team’s 37 points.
Marquel Lowe Marquel Lowe 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Princeton | 2025 State WV – Princeton ’25 RB
The Princeton Tigers had their big three have yet another big game this season and that started with junior running back Marquel Lowe Marquel Lowe 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Princeton | 2025 State WV who has been awesome all year. Lowe carried the ball 22 times for 166 yards and a touchdown in their big 41-37 win over Parkersburg in the Class AAA quarterfinal. He’s been one of the best 2025 running backs in the state this season and the Tigers will need that production from him when they host Bridgeport in the semifinals.
Chance Barker Chance Barker 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB Princeton | 2026 State WV – Princeton ’26 QB
Sophomore sensation Chance Barker Chance Barker 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB Princeton | 2026 State WV has also been fantastic all season for Princeton and has commanded their high-flying passing attack. Barker had a very efficient night against Parkersburg completing 20 of 26 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns. He also was impactful with his legs rushing for 51 yards on 7 carries and a third touchdown of the night.
Dominick Collins Dominick Collins 5'9" | 165 lbs | WR Princeton | 2024 State WV – Princeton ’24 WR
The third and certainly not least member of the Princeton dynamic trio is senior receiver and Kennedy/Moss Award nominee Dominick Collins Dominick Collins 5'9" | 165 lbs | WR Princeton | 2024 State WV . The speedster caught 9 passes for 125 yards and had one rush for 7 yards and a touchdown. His play on special teams is what really won the game for the Tigers as he had 5 returns for 138 yards and a kickoff return for a touchdown. Collins also made an enormous play on his kickoff team when he tracked down a Parkersburg returner from behind when he slipped through on an onside kick attempt while racing towards an apparent easy touchdown that would have potentially won the game for the Big Reds.
Avonte Crawford Avonte Crawford 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Huntington | 2025 State WV – Huntington ’25 QB/ATH
One of the more underrated players in the state this season has been junior Huntington quarterback Avonte Crawford Avonte Crawford 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Huntington | 2025 State WV who has filled in nicely for the now-graduated star Gavin Lochow. who is now burning defenses at the University of Dayton. Crawford hasn’t skipped a beat for the Highlanders and threw for 246 yards and 4 touchdowns against Spring Mills in the 41-6 win. He added a 5th touchdown of the game with a rushing score and even had 6 tackles on defense.
Zah Jackson Zah Jackson 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB Huntington | 2025 State WV – Huntington ’25 RB/DB
A not-so-underrated athlete and national 2025 prospect Zah Jackson Zah Jackson 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB Huntington | 2025 State WV was also very good in Huntington’s win over Spring Mills in the Class AAA quarterfinals. Jackson had 15 carries for 120 yards and averaged 8 yards per carry in the win. He also added two catches for 41 yards and 20.5 yards per catch. Jackson totaled 4 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a pass deflection from his corner spot and had a 29-yard kick return to finish with 190 all-purpose yards.
Malik McNeely Malik McNeely 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Huntington | 2024 State WV – Huntington ’24 WR
Senior receiver Malik McNeely Malik McNeely 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Huntington | 2024 State WV has stepped up well for the Huntington Highlanders when star receiver Wayne Harris Wayne Harris 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Huntington | 2024 State WV went down with an injury a few weeks ago. The big 6’3 receiver caught six passes against Spring Mills, totaled 95 yards, and scored three touchdowns in the win over the Cardinals. McNeely has been great the past three games for the Highlanders catching 12 passes for 299 yards and five touchdowns.
Zach Rohrig Zach Rohrig 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Bridgeport | 2024 State WV – Bridgeport ’24 RB
The Bridgeport Indians did what they’ve done all season against opponents and asserted their will with their tough single-wing offense. Star senior running back Zach Rohrig Zach Rohrig 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Bridgeport | 2024 State WV led the way with two touchdowns and 105 total rushing yards on 21 carries. He added 8 total tackles on defense and has now rushed for 1,700 yards and 23 touchdowns this season in his final year of high school.
Josh Love Josh Love 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Bridgeport | 2025 State WV – Bridgeport ’25 RB
The second of three 100-yard rushers for Bridgeport in their 41-21 win over Cabell Midland in the quarterfinals was junior running back Josh Love Josh Love 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Bridgeport | 2025 State WV . Love has been an underrated rusher all season for the Indians and rushed for 115 yards on 21 carries and score a touchdown in the win. This performance put him over the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season and the second 1,000-yard rusher for the Indians this year.
Timothy Jeffress – Bridgeport ’25 RB
The third of Bridgeport’s 100-yard rushers in their game against Cabell Midland was junior running back Timothy Jeffress. Jeffress carried the ball just 9 times but totaled 118 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 13.1 yards per carry for the game and has rushed for 387 yards and six scores this season for the Indians. Jeffress should have a bigger role next season once Rohrig graduates and should fill in nicely with a plethora of other backs in that offense.
Koi Fagan Koi Fagan 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Martinsburg | 2025 State WV – Martinsburg ’25 ATH
Martinsburg junior ATH Koi Fagan Koi Fagan 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Martinsburg | 2025 State WV was my pick for Offensive Player of the Game in my AAA quarterfinals preview predictions and all he did was rip off the opening kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown to blow the game wide open at the start. Fagan wasn’t finished there as he also scored the second touchdown of the game on a 17-yard rushing touchdown on the Bulldogs’ first series of the game. Look for him on the field in the semifinals and potentially in the state championship game if Martinsburg can get past Huntington in the semifinals.
Nick Busky Nick Busky 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Martinsburg | 2025 State WV – Martinsburg ’25 RB/LB
The Martinsburg Bulldogs are sure glad to have gotten junior RB/LB Nick Busky Nick Busky 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Martinsburg | 2025 State WV back from injury this season after missing about half of the year. Busky has started off hot in his return and didn’t slow down against Jefferson in their 49-0 shutout of the Cougars. He had 116 of Martinsburg’s 260 rushing yards in the game and scored a touchdown in the win. The Martinsburg first-teamers weren’t needed much after halftime and you’ll likely see them for 4 full quarters this week against Huntington.
Keyshawn Robinson Keyshawn Robinson 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2024 State WV – Jefferson ’24 WR
It wasn’t all bad for the Jefferson Cougars in their tough 49-0 shutout to Martinsburg as star senior receiver Keyshawn Robinson Keyshawn Robinson 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2024 State WV was still able to have some production in the game. The future West Virginia University Mountaineer caught eight passes in the game totaling 112 yards. The speedy and slippery receiver was effective from the slot and did well on short and intermediate routes attacking the Martinsburg flats and box. Robinson will be off to WVU after this year and you’ll be seeing him do those same things against Big 12 secondaries soon enough.
