Tyler (7-0) vs Williamstown (7-0)

A battle of the unbeaten, one of these programs is going to have their perfect season come to an end on Friday night in Sistersville.

Tyler this season has been led by their terrific offense, averaging 46 points per game. Their defense hasn't been too shabby either, allowing just under 18 points a game. On the other end, Williamstown has been posting slightly better offensive stats, 48.7 points per game but their defense has been absolutely tremendous, allowing 11.8 points per game.

The second half could be the deciding factor in this game. Both teams this season have gotten out to strong starts consistently, but it's been Tyler that has had huge second-half efforts, including averaging over two touchdowns per week in the fourth quarter. Now, a part of that is that Tyler has been so dominant this season - they haven't needed to have those efforts in the second half and fourth quarter. While Tyler has had their fair share of victories in dominant fashion, they have had several games that have been close late as well. Could Tyler's experience in close games be to their advantage?

Both East Hardy and Doddridge are looking to garner more momentum as the postseason approaches this weekend.

For East Hardy, the Cougars are winners of their last four straight and have done it in dominating fashion, winning 69-20, 52-14, 33-0, and 24-6. Their two losses of the season came to Wahama and Tucker County in the first three weeks of the season. The Cougars have been led by a strong defensive effort that is allowing just 16.7 points per game.

Wheeling Central Catholic (4-4) vs Harbor Creek (PA)(3-5)

Despite the records, this should still be a solid game between Wheeling Central Catholic and Harbor Creek out of Pennsylvania. Central Catholic is coming off back-to-back wins and has had their ups-and-downs throughout the season but three of their four losses have been to out-of-state opponents.

The good news for Wheeling Central Catholic is that they enter this weekend on a two-game winning streak. On the other side of the field, Harbor Creek enters this week with back-to-back losses but is led by a good defense that's allowed just 22.7 points per game. Their offense has struggled at times, only averaging just over 22 points a game as well. We expect the West Virginia boys to pick up a big win here in Week 9 over the neighbors from the north.
