This isn’t Plumb’s first time on the Weekly Top Performers list, and it certainly won’t be the last for the junior quarterback. The St. Charles North signal caller had another big night as the North Stars defeated cross-town rival St. Charles East. Plumb went for over 380 total yards and 5 touchdowns, including 4 passing and 1 rushing. The elite quarterback possesses a fantastic arm and plus athleticism. As one of the top players in the state, Plumb is poised to lead SCN to a deep playoff run.
Highlights
The Jacobs two-way star had a night for the ages in a conference win against Burlington Central. Offensively, Scrivani rushed for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns. However, the junior linebacker was even more impressive on defense. Scrivani posted 7 tackles, 2 of which were for loss, and 1 sack. He measures in at 6’1, 190 lbs, and plays with physicality on both sides of the ball. Keep an eye out for this rising senior the rest of the way.

The senior guard from Sycamore anchored an dominating offensive line unit in a close win over Kaneland. While Sycamore remains undefeated, Carrick has been a big reason why. The Spartans rushed for 195 rushing yards on the night. In the pass game, he and his unit allowed zero sacks against a strong Kaneland defense. Carrick, who is also a stand-out wrestler, plays with a nastiness and a physicality that all offensive line coaches look for. As Sycamore remains perfect, keep an eye out for their lethal rushing attack and strong offensive line throughout the playoffs.
The senior Joliet Catholic wide receiver was the difference in the Hilltopper’s win over Marist on Friday. In a 21-20 victory, Washington accounted for all of JCA’s touchdowns. He scored 3 on the night on a total of 87 yards. The 6’1, 175 lbs senior has a variety of skills, including elite speed, precision route running, and the ability to make contested catches. If Washington sees a 1-on-1 matchup in front of him, it’s highly likely he will come down with the ball. As JCA races towards the playoffs, Washington will continue to shine.
Highlights
While Crider missed the start of the season with an injury, the senior running back picked up right where he left off all last season. Crider is a 6’1, 205 lbs running back from Wheaton-Warrenville South. He is a work horse for the Tigers, as he carried the rock 39 times on Friday in a win over Wheaton North. Crider totaled 163 yards on the night, as the fast and physical back plays with a downhill style that always keeps him moving forward. As WWS makes a late push for the playoffs, Crider will be a major part of it.
