Plumb is one of the top Class of 2025 prospects in Illinois, as the junior quarterback from St. Charles North had a season for the ages, earning IHSFCA 7A All-State Honorable Mention Honors. Plumb threw for 2,557 yards and 21 touchdowns this year. He also added 11 touchdowns on the ground. The dynamic, dual-threat signal caller is incredibly intelligent, as he can read opposing defenses and make any throw on the field to beat them. He can fit balls into tight windows and has a powerful arm that can beat the defense over the top. Plumb plays with strong poise, knowing when to keep his eyes down field on scrambles and knowing when to pull it down and run. This do-it-all quarterback’s stock is on the rise heading into his senior season.

Ethan Plumb is an elite talent at the Quarterback position. He has a live arm that allows him to make all the throws and his also a tremendous athlete. He can be difficult to defend with his ability to extend plays with his legs. In 2o23, he threw for 2,557 yards and 32 total touchdowns while also running for 290 yards. Plumb should be a name to keep an eye on this off-season and into camp season next year.

The #1 QB in the Class of 2025 will lead his team into the battle with Bradley B. Bourbonnais. The dual threat QB has the tools to hurt the defense on the ground or through the air. He is a physical runner on the ground, with enough speed to gain big chunks when given daylight. Through the air is where he thrives. Plumb has next level arm talent. He can fire the ball downfield, even off platform. Ethan makes quick decisions, and has command over the ball to have pinpoint placement. The pocket mechanics are strong too. The footwork keeps him ready to get the ball out, he has a prototypical throwing motion, and a very quick release. I’m excited to see him on the big stage of playoff football.

Plumb went for over 380 total yards and 5 touchdowns, including 4 passing and 1 rushing. The elite quarterback possesses a fantastic arm and plus athleticism. As one of the top players in the state, Plumb is poised to lead SCN to a deep playoff run.
