Otteson is Nevada's most productive WR to this point with 30 catches for 720 yards and 8 TDs in seven games. He looks significantly more developed both as an athlete and in his overall skillset since seeing him at the PRZ-CA Showcase in January and has turned out solid production so far as a senior. He's shown explosiveness as a playmaker getting in behind the secondary and finishing with ball-tracking and natural hands downfield. He's a crafty separator that can keep DBs guessing with changing speeds and possesses the speed to breakaway from defenders after the catch. Otteson's making a case as the top skill-player in 3A with his breakout senior season.

Birnbaum took over the lead role in Truckee's backfield and has capitalized on his opportunities with 75 carries for 750 yards and 14 TDs through seven games. He brings an explosive element to the offense with natural speed, athleticism, and agility as a runner. He sees the field well as a ball-carrier, can change direction without loss of speed/momentum, and flashes versatility in his receiving skillset (19 catches, 415 yards, 4 TDs). Birnbaum's put his name among the top RBs in Nevada's 3A Division.

Hopkinson has produced two standout performances in wins over Valley (16/25, 266 yards, 5 TDs) and Meadows (17/25, 334 yards, 4 TDs) in his first season as starter for Boulder City. He's a mobile pocket-passer that flashes effortless arm strength/velocity with a flicky release and shows good ball placement to the outside against tight coverage. Hopkinson's the second-leading passer in Nevada 3A with over 1,100 passing yards and 11 TDs in Boulder City's 4-1 start.

Nevil leads SLAM's rushing attack with 830 yards and 11 TDs on nearly 100 carries for one of the top teams in 3A. His biggest strength as a runner is his elusiveness in tight spaces and ability to make defenders miss at the second/third levels to produce big plays. He flashes built-up speed on the perimeter and quick-twitch reflexes in-and-out of his cuts. Nevil's a name to watch among Nevada 3A's talented group of junior RBs.

Matheson leads Moapa Valley's offense in both rushing (105 carries, 800+ yards, 15 TDs) and receiving (14 catches, 190 yards, 2 TDs) in their 5-2 start. He's a tough, physical runner that likes to get downhill and finishes with strong leg drive through contact. He shows ability to read and set-up blocks at the LOS and can run through arm tackles in the secondary. Matheson is one of the most ball-dominant playmakers in Nevada 3A this season.
