Gage Hopkinson Gage Hopkinson 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB Boulder City | 2025 State NV averaged a whopping 278 total yards a game as just a junior last season for Boulder City. Even though he only stands at 5’10”, being a very solid 180 lbs allows him to play much bigger than that. With his strength, he can unload and throw the ball completely over the top of the defense, or he can use that to zip a pass into a tight window when he needs to. When he decides to take off running, he has a burst that defenders just can’t match and his strong base makes it nearly impossible for anyone to bring him down on their own. As he works his way through his final high school season, Hopkinson could see his completion percentage from last year (58.7%) take a big jump in 2024.

Hopkinson returns to Boulder City for his senior season after throwing for over 2,300 yards and 23 TDs as a junior. He’s a mobile pocket-passer that’s patient with his reads and can move/extend the pocket as a savvy playmaker. He can take advantage of space with his legs when given, has some natural power in his arm, and isn’t afraid to challenge tight windows down the field. Hopkinson’s one of the top players to watch in Nevada 3A football next season.
