Keeps his head in the backfield while defending to anticipate throws in his coverage area. While he is a sound tackler with good size as a defensive back, he gets creative when bringing down players against multiple blockers. Shows up for his team where he is needed, doesn't shy away from contact. Plays hard whenever he takes the field, a big contributor on special teams. A multisport athlete with a track background as well. Handles double teams with regularity, is a hard player to contain in one-on-one situations. While his bullrush can topple over offensive linemen, he has good quickness to pull off speed moves to create pressure. Uses his quickness as a good first step to often gain the upperhand against slower offensive linemen. A good combination of speed and power that needs to be accounted for when coaches are game planning. A player who is getting better each week and contributing to his team's success. Wrestles during the offseason, shows good translation of hand skills when competing on the football field. Jumping behind center as a sophomore, Miller looks anything but with his decision making to move his team up the field. Has the athleticism needed to pull down the ball and sprint for yardage. Isn't a player that relies on his feet for his success, has a big arm with the ability to make throws all over the field. Gets ball out quickly with a compact release, doesn't lack velocity on his short throws. Good poise in the pocket with his size, able to deliver balls with contact imminent. Durable runner, doesn't shy away from contact or give up and go out of bounds. Fights for extra yardage after contact. A good runner both on designed runs or when fleeing the pocket, can take contact and keep moving, is able to slip out of arm tackles regularly. Lines up in multiple sets from the backfield on offense, is a downhill runner that hits holes at top speed. Keeps low when running, able to take contact and keep fighting for yardage. Has the speed to finish off plays in the end zone. Good size at 6-foot-1 to be a downfield threat with range to bring down difficult passes. Adjust well to passes thrown in traffic with ability to bring down contested passes. Dangerous runner in open space, able to shift his weight quickly to change direction with ease. Shows knowledge of his assignments when play is away from him, good blocker with a competitive nature to win blocking assignments just like he would going up for a pass.
